I agree with the Stream Sniping one. Broadcasting your location over a livestream is no different than using voice-chat in game for everyone to hear and yelling -- "For the people on my team, this is my current location! And if you're not on my team, don't listen to my voice! Ignore the location I just mentioned!". There is no 'right to privacy' or any kind of ethical violation involved by 'listening in' on someone's broadcast. And just because someone 'streams for a living' doesn't magically grant them immunity to being watched by their opponents. The rest of us never agreed to play by your arbitrarily-defined rules; if you yell your location in the middle of the game, expect people to look for you there. If you broadcast your location over livestream, expect people to look for you.

There´s currently a bit of salt concerning that. Blizzard states that a ban is justified if your hero pick is sabotaging the team composition and you are just refusing to interact with them. But someone who plays Torb at that level knows very well what he is doing, especially if he mains him. They just thought he was trolling by picking a very unpopular character who is widely believed to be quite awefull most of the time while in fact he was just playing the game with the hero he was best at.

"banned for being too good" something that doesnt actually happen. when people get banned for "being too good" its generally because the player isnt actually doing super good its that because of how much less skilled the enemy is he is able to get a large lead that would be impossible in a game with players of lower skilled. its a problem with any game that has a skill rating. as well as it is possible to earn 2x the average points in a game but its impossible to tell if omeone is actually cheating from data sheets. also in BF1 bombers are really annoying anyway because of how low risk they can be if they climb high enough.

I bought a used 360 back in the day, that had a strange quirk to it in halo 3. Water would always hover and appear 50 feet or so in the air. Water still worked as normal but all rivers and water in the game appeared gone and only showed a dried up river bed. How can you even prove stream sniping? How can you with full certainty conclude it wasn't just coincidence or player skill that lead to the streamer's character being killed? I know when I play PvP games, a lot of the kills I get are from merely guessing player behaviour without ever knowing for certain. I once threw a grenade into a windmill and got a kill on a guy I never even knew was there. Why did I throw the grenade? I just felt like it. I wasn't even going to the windmill, I just passed it by! But if the guy I happened to kill was a streamer, would they assume I was stream sniping? How do they know it wasn't coincidence? Unless the stream sniper is literally filming themselves doing it, it seems hard to prove beyond "Yeaaaaahhhh... he probably did stream snipe! .... probably." I'm not denying it happens, but how the hell do you go about proving something like that to justify a ban? xD

I have been banned by doing too well before. I was playing dark souls and way to many people kept jumping into my world to kill me. The only problem is I was built to be a stealthy killer. So every time I got the notice I would hide and wait before killing them or bate them into rushing me at an edge. Well it turns out if you kill more then 10 players invading your world in 1 day without dieing you must be cheating. But unlucky for them I had evidence I was not cheating and they had to unban me. Cheats go way back to the days of 80's. Cheats then were simply a way for the programmer(s), also the tester(s), to test the game without having to go through level by level. There just wasn't time to test it all the way through. The type of code back then was simply too hard to get the cheat code out without serious issues of the game as a whole. Sometimes programmers will leave these cheats in as in AOE 2 or all of GTA 3's series. And we thank you! As far as not knowing some game pads can cheat... Game pads can be difficult to program as there are three types x-input (Microsoft), d-input (Sony), and "generic". The problem with generic is they can look like an official GP but they won't follow same rules. (Generic "X" button could be actual controllers "R1" button in-game ect...). Which is why we use key mapping. This goes for Keyboards too. Also another tid bit just for fun. Most people think there are four slots but according to game pads there are up to twelve. For instance my d-input on my computer starts at slot 4, as an array slot[3]. Then of course, slot[4], slot[5], then slot[6].

Hahahaha, yeah, uh no longer a while ago. A Top 500 Torb main got temp banned for being "uncooperative" even though playing Torb was his best hero and usually the best chance of winning. They're literally stomping out one-tricking in Overwatch. I say bullshit, because the rules state you must do your best to win in the competitive environment. A Torb main at the Top 500 will be a Top 500 Torb, but who is to say they are a Top 500 in every other hero? They might have some other heroes they play, but their Torbjorn could be leagues ahead. Switching OFF that Torb at that time could in fact heavily DAMAGE your chances of winning. The issue right now is Blizzard keeps telling their community that they don't want to define the meta or control the players and let them be creative, but they're now punishing players for playing what they want. They're giving too much power to the players to decide what's right and wrong... and considering how toxic Overwatch's community is, well. Yep. I'm refusing to play now honestly. After the Mercy rework, it's not fun anymore. I was a Mercy main, and her rework just sucked all the fun out of her. Ah yes, have an ult now that basically just makes you do MORE of what you were doing already. Super exciting gameplay, I'm so excited that I just float around and do MORE general healing, power boosts and rezzing. Oh wait I WAS DOING IT ALREADY. Back on topic, Blizzard is going down the gutter and are just... not... working on their game properly. There's a reason Heroes of the Storm isn't a huge pro game. Seems to me that Overwatch is now following suit.

Jessen xxx I don't think necessarily it's boring. It's a nice mix of this shooter-slash-MOBA type game. But the issue is how Blizzard conducts their business with the game. The game itself was fun at one point, it's why so many people played it, no matter if one thinks it's overhyped. There's a reason people play or do anything. But, well, the community is decreasing heavily because of Blizzard's practices. Seems to me they're trying to make another game to become the most played after League overtook World of Warcraft. Honestly I'm a League player. A Support main specifically. I never played FPS aside from Mass Effect and even then that game is pretty light on the shooting aspect due to the semi aim assist which I played with. I came in with wanting to play Mercy because she was who appealed to me the most since she was the easiest for me to translate my current skill set to. I'm a support main who is good at standing at the back and analysing the situation. Mercy was perfect for that. Lucio and just any support can do it too, it just so happened that of course the pretty female healer was the one I liked the most. (I'm a Sona, Soraka, Nami and Janna player so... You can see my tastes clearly) I don't really enjoy Lucio, Ana takes more mechanical skill than I'm capable of currently, Zenyatta bores me and Symmetra is... not a healer. As for Moira who has just come out, I played her a bit and just thought. I don't like this. My thing is playing a class that focuses on healing almost solely so I can spend the rest of my time trying to help my team make correct decisions. I stopped playing Overwatch comp after doing my placements in season 6. I lost 9. I'm not saying I deserved to win any of those but I am saying that I found toxicity in all 9. The only one that didn't have toxicity was the one that I won and it was me who won it too. It's worth noting I played with bronzes in the 9 lost mostly while the one I won was silvers. I started out playing Mercy in all of them and occasionally swapped to Lucio for King of the Hill or if I was being heavily targeted and struggling to survive either due to myself or my teammates. But I stopped because it was toxicity. I didn't feel like my games were decided at all by anyone's skill. I just felt like we lost because we had the more toxic players who snapped at each other first. And that was where I slowly lost interest. Overwatch would continue being a great game if only Blizzard were recognising the major issues with the game instead of listening to these forum criers that seem to decide so much. Part of me wonders if Blizzard talked to the people in high ranks that main Mercy before reworking her. If not, they just made a huge mistake. Did you know Riot often talks to the people who main the champs in high ranks before reworking them? Now you do. Blizzard seems to push blame onto the players too in a lot of situations and as someone who isn't toxic, but does want to play someone specific because I know that I can't aim very well so the best I can do for my team is to play someone that doesn't require aim to get value out of, I feel very afraid about this direction Blizzard is taking. Also considering that the Overwatch community has this irrational hatred towards Mercy mains is annoying. The hatred should be towards Blizzard for having the SR gain system so heavily based on stats which Mercy mains can gobble up like it's nothing. I wasn't a Mercy main because I wanted the stats or the big rez. I was a Mercy main because it's what was fun and was most likely to win me the game. Even though it seems fixed now, he hatred isn't going and that just turns me away. They're basically just doing everything for their stupid Overwatch League. In League, taking out the enemy Janna can be game-winning or fight-winning at the very least. Most players in League learn this as they climb the ladder. When I can say supports, I mean the more traditional ones, not the tanks or... damage "supports". Not learning this can be a sign of a bad player who will drop to a lower rank. Learning that skill is vital in Overwatch too. You have to try focus fire the supports. However low ranks of players weren't getting this and instead got annoyed about Mercy pulling off resurrects. Mercy in my opinion didn't need reworked but her ult probably needed a nerf so it didn't charge so quickly. But instead Blizzard listened to these people crying about her pulling off mass resurrects and reworked her. It should be noted the best Mercys did tempo-resurrects. This difference alone separated the good Mercys from the great ones. Where good Mercys would just go for big resurrects, the great ones would climb higher due to their ability to recognise which resurrect is needed. The issue with Mercy was she had resurrect every fight with little to no effort. Not the resurrect itself. I'd also call myself a good game analyst. I call a lot of nerfs that are likely to be incoming on League a lot of the time so I think I have a good understanding of balance. Anyway. I babbled a lot but yes.

Stream Sniping is an issue in any multiplayer games but to my knowledge you make a party or go at it solo in PUBG, so a stream sniper shouldn't be banned in that case, because everyone in the streamers party should be aware, and therefore it's not ruining the game for anyone but the streamer and their party. Does PUBG have a competitive scene though? I don't know. If so, THAT'S bannable no matter what I say since stream sniping is unfair and muddles up things like rank, but in regular games, I don't see the point. I agree that the streamer in that case subjects themselves to it.

Well... Parts of southern europe. A bit of spain and Sicily. But for the most part the muslims weren´t behaving that unusual for this time period. In fact, the main reason why they sent the crusades(apart from jerusalem suddenly becoming unreachable for pilgrims when another muslim tribe conquered it) was that the entire state required new conquest. I don't think the issue present was stream sniping, but rather the fact that in that particular game many streamers have gotten people banned for stream sniping when there was none happening. I don't remember any names, but if I remember right I saw a story about how one streamer was standing out in the open, a guy who didn't even know he was a streamer, let alone that he was streaming at that moment, saw him, snuck up behind him, killed him, and got banned for stream sniping. Luckily, the innocent player had been recording at the time and could prove his innocense. The Super Mario Maker one is ridiculous. Psycrow was cheating and hacking, there is no way he shouldn't be banned. He was going against the rules way before the game started to lose popularity. He was using glitches most of the times and not creative tricks, the levels I've seen were below average if not worse. He would cause the game to decrease the frame rate, teleport Mario and hazards and many others that would cause the game to start working incorrectly, you can't even say he was near a gray area. Then he started hacking to change the game's rules. You can say the game could have had more stuff added, but even now new tricks are being found that don't require glitching or hacking, things he should be doing if he wanted to bring the game back to life. Just remove the last one, you are just defending a hacker and going against your own video, you could have easily found a reason within Miiverse, there are so many ban stories that you could even make several videos out of them.

I'm watching a small Streamer (5-30 viewers) and i admit < delay = > fun for watcher and streamer. But my pont is, most streamers are using thier twitch name as game name like twitch.tv/Trump123 and thats a big invatation for streamsniping. As a small streamer dont do that in a BR game and for the big streamer you cant follow you waterfall chat while playing a BR game, a 5 min delay doesent harm anybody .

One time I got banned on ROBLOX when I was younger for telling an online friend in game that a player scammed me and not to trust him. I was so pissed because he really had scammed me out of some of my most prized possessions (limited stock and rare cosmetics from a few years back). I was eventually unbanned after emailing support about how my ban was unfair because I had really been scammed and wasn’t claiming. Maybe just from coincidence (I don’t know honestly), the scammer was banned a few months later. It was extremely satisfying to see justice served, especially being at the age of ten; when adults other than your parents didn’t seem to pay any attention or listen to what you said to them.

that GTA thing actually happened to me as well. i had a guy who didn't like that i put myself in passive mode start killing everyone, and blowing up their cars as well. it charged me for every car destroyed as well. after i was about 2 million in debt, he left the server and i was banned about 5 minutes later. luckily a friend who i was playing with was recording it all and within 5 minutes of him sending it to rockstar it was all reversed.
