While watching a movie with a friend with a friend at empty showing at the Chinese Theater in 2002. We both saw a black shadow fall from the ceiling and the black shadow started charging down our sitting aisle and it became a black shadow dog and jump at me. I jumped up and then turned on the low led screen light on my cell but did not see if this creature was near my feet but nothing. My after school job was as an usher at the El Capitan Theater. I did see the guy who killed himself back in 92. He looked pale and gray. When the theater was closed on off season. I would hang out there with the manger and a few co workers. We would hang in the lower auditorium to see if we can see a ghost. I got my chaired kicked behind me for mentioning heaven and hell. The force was hard that the rest of the team felt their seats shake. I do miss the Pacific Theater it had a beautiful old time atmosphere when watching movies. The last film I saw there was Army of Darkness or Dr Giggles. I wish the owner would reopen the theater after 30 years.

Do you know why the the guy killed himself? I have encountered ghosts by sounds and have seen a few shadows, it is creepy.

There are at least two photos of Peg Entwistle diving off the sign and I've seen them. One shows her poised on the letter "D" and the other is of her doing a swan dive. At the present time, the photos may have been repressed and unavailable to the public, but they were widely seen in the past. One of the reasons they shortened the sign to just "HOLLYWOOD", is to hopefully discourage anyone else from trying to exactly duplicate her action.

I cannot believe how many names and words were mispronounced during this video. From Dan Akroyd to The Pantages theater. While both names are somewhat unusual, you would think that a channel like this would do some basic research on correct pronunciation of names. It matters.

NO, it was the H. That is documented. There are no photos of her doing it. She did it with no one knowing about it. Her Uncle did not know about it and that is who she was staying with near the sign.
