The problem that I have with these videos is when you have pictures of these actors/actresses that are actually other actors/actresses. If you can't get the pictures straight, how can I trust that you have the facts straight.

Read Dr. Thomas Noguchi's autopsy report on Marilyn Monroe. The respected L.A. Coroner found that Marilyn Monroe would have died within a year anyway, as her pancreas and liver were all but destroyed by alcohol and drug abuse. Marilyn Monroe mixed alcohol with drugs (both prescription and recreational drugs). My father knew her, and her party circle, in the last years of her life.

See George Sanders Wikipedia Bio. Niven's recollection was oddly specific including age at death, and apparently made after news of death. The man's life had become extremely miserable and then a cherry on top was dementia diagnosis. He hated the idea of needing others to take care of him. His suicide by pills was not a casual decision.

In the late 70s a friend and were crabbing off a small pier near Trappe Maryland. We were from the Baltimore area and didn't know the area. We were catching huge crabs and some big guy in a truck pulled up, l thought he was there to chase us off but instead he was very friendly, he told us he comes here once in awhile to smoke a joint and take in the view. He looked familiar but l couldn't put my finger on it. I lit one of mine up and pointed to a cooler of beer. He spent the rest of the morning crabbing and partying with us. It finally clicked, Robert Mitchum. My friend had never heard of Mitchum and honestly the story of a big Hollywood star showing up in the middle of no where and hanging out with two young stoners would seem like a tall tale. I took the crabs to my parents house and told them the story. My mom was like "stop lying" but then dad says "Mitchum has a house in Trappe". The crabs were really good too!

The late great Katharine Hepburn was NOT a drug addict and never did cocaine, heroin or the likes! She was a smoker like so many of them were back then but she quit in her 60s because she was starring on Broadway in the show "Coco" about French fashion designer Coco Chanel and had to sing songs and she needed to have a clear voice! Your accusations are completely wrong and unfounded! And the photo you show next to her is NOT her! Quit vilifying a famous legendary great from the Golden Age of Hollywood! 14:08 Judy Garland never had a chance. Her addiction was caused by the studio and that evil Louis B. Mayer. Billie Holliday (Lady) is another tragic sad story. What kind of justice system incarcerates someone with an addiction problem and treats them as criminals…how shocking that jail didn’t help, it only brought an early end to one of the most beautiful singing voices of all time! I think the most powerful beautiful singing voices were Judy Garland , Billie Holliday and Patsy Cline, 2 lost to drugs and 1 lost to a plane crash but all a tragic loss to the millions they entertained.

She sadly did! Accidentally! She had phone next to her lifeless hand, as she had done this same routine many times before. Take bunch of pills and then change her mind and call for help, this time she took too much it acted faster than she could call and we lost her! Sad but true. I will say where is her diary? That is a true mystery. Tell me that wouldn’t be an exciting read.

@GoldenAgeCelebrities-jb6hu Yes, there's lots of evidence: read Goddess by Anthony Summers and The Marilyn Conspiracy by Milo Speriglio. JFK didn't kill Marilyn it was RFK who shortly before her death killed by smothering her with a pillow - he had been to her house the day before her death to look for the red diary, she kept screaming at him to get out and he simply suffocated her, there were two other men with him, that she died of a drug overdose has been used as a great smokescreen for years because it would seem logical that she one day would just take too many pills. Jimmy Hoffa warned people that RFK had a psychotic temper and would one day kill someone - he did !! Marilyn. JFK had been out of Marilyn's life for quite awhile before her death; this was ANOTHER smokescreen that JFK did something to her. Her death was oddly anticlimactic !! A pillow killed her !! 17:48

Just to let you know, Clara Bow did not die at 16. She died at 60. Please get your facts straight.

Are they sending some type of subliminal messages when certain close ups have nothing to do with the person that is being talked about? 😮

The studios did allot to mess up these stars. Giving them drugs to start out with is a major issue. Then these videos like this when there’s no one to take up for them alive is AWFUL! I hate these terrible videos.

What a stupid thumbnail - showing a "before" picture of Katharine Hepburn, who was one of the most wholesome - anti-drug and anti-alcohol legends to ever grace the Hollywood screen. Also, the only performer to win the Academy Award for Best Actress FOUR times.

This wasn't very good. The music was very off compared to the narrator. And whoever the typist was, really misspelled a lot. You really notice it, so it takes away from the whole video. I hope it won't happen again.

17:12 Francis Farmer is another sad story, I think her problem was a psychological illness and she was self medicating with alcohol which only antagonized her preexisting depression and mental health issues. Another case where the person needed medical help not jail. It makes about as much sense as incarcerating someone with a bad heart that commits the selfish crime of having a heart attack while driving! We show understand and compassion to a person with a heart condition or diabetes but have no sympathy or compassion for someone with a mental condition/illness! Ignorance is a dangerous trait.

Can narrators stop saying the word "penchant" please? It's not pronounced phonetically! It's not pen chant! It's a French word and you have to read it "French"!! The narrator in this video, pronounced it "pen" (What you write with) and "chant" (to say in unison, usually a repeated phrase) "pen+chant" You pronounce it more like "pon" and "shor" . Add them together and get "pon+shor". Funny what things piss you off ain't it?! 😊✌

What's with the random photographs of unknown individuals popping up without explanation in the middle of segments? eg who the hell is the middle aged lady in the segment about Montgomery Clift?? Why is there an unidentified stripper in the Lenny Bruce segment and who are the other unnamed individuals? Who are the kids in the Robert Mitchum segment? Why does Sarah Michelle Gellar pop up when you're talking about Veronica Lake? I gave up at that point. If you can't be bothered reviewing your videos before you upload them, I can't be bothered watching them. What absolute crap.
