So if we made the quicklite cabins out of recycled plastics, we could have tiny, recycled shelters for those in need.
@HELLRZR-nm3vv2 жыл бұрын
At minimum $10K each, (regardless of recycled plastic status.) And used as shelters, left out in even the most temperate elements 24/7, they wouldn't last. Not to mention, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or 'Styrofoam' is a known human carcinogen, a toxic, non-biodegradable substance. It's a lovely idea, but a flawed concept environmentally.

I took a Scrubba on my last festival/camping trip in Europe. It worked great! I was able to pack less clothes and easily launder the ones I brought. I brought those soap sheets so less weight and less liquid. I used the bag for a dirty clothes hamper in between uses. My friends used it also. If you don't want to spend the money on one, you can get by using a large zip lock baggie...

5:10 the QuickCabin looks pretty fun, but I checked and it looks like it runs around $10,000.00. Seeing as you can get a tent about the same size or bigger for 200 bucks, it seems a wee bit overkill for the average wallet lol
@ravenlorans2 жыл бұрын
Plus tent takes up less space, Less time to set up... And this thing has been around for a good 10 years, along with most this stuff they are showing... Now for someone living "Off Grid"... Ah Fuck It, You can buy a Prebuilt Shed for less and also would be larger...
@c.rutherford2 жыл бұрын
@@ravenlorans yeah those cabin pieces look like a major hassle to lug around, they look pretty breakable and everything that does has to be custom ordered. Sadly it seems like a money pit. Though I'd enjoy setting one up

There is nothing new in the amphibious bus. There has been one that is operating as tourist bus in Budapest for 20 years.
