Because the system is interacting the energy of the subsystem is not fixed so we assign probabilities of occupancy for different energies🙂🙏🙏.

Shawan temperature of a system is an attribute to eaullibrium of the system. Given 2 different systems we can identify temperature as a property of the system in equilibrium but given 2 systems we can not fix the energy of the system if we don't know the exact calculation of the microscopic details of the systems. The ignorance of exact details of the system is described using Probabilities this probability is a function of how the 2 system exchange energy we talk about temperature of the system when the system has equilibrated so temperature is fixed and we have probabilities of occurrence of different energies.
