you’ve just got to work hard, don’t worry about it too much right now. just do well in school and study hard. don’t take the easy way out when you get a job and put in maximum effort. my mom came to the u.s when she was 18 not knowing any English and she worked in a dollar store in a long time. im twelve now and she has a great office job and is one of the top workers. she makes about 300k a year and if you put your mind to it, u will definitely be able to do it! your life is only beginning and you can make that change that you want to see.

I went to both dental and medical school, and found being a dentist is not necessarily easier. Dentistry involves a lot of hand-eye coordination, more like being a micro-surgeon, an artist and jewelry maker at the same time. Many former colleagues have retired at late 40s, early 50s due to eye, back and specially hand (dexterity) issues. In contrast, medicine (non-surgical) will allow you to practice as long as your brain is functioning. MDs can work in their 70s, or 80s just diagnosing and typing or dictating prescriptions. And due to Covid, repeat prescriptions can be done online from home in pajamas! You can't do that as an orthodontist.
