Sorry I missed this. I bought many of them in 2016 to 2017 when they were much cheaper. The market has become very rough since then as you're aware 😅 I had most of the zero system as a kid but my original collection was lost in a move sadly

@@infernape100 Of course it doesnt work. The arm have to work in tandem with the top part of the belly extension so that the arm doesnt move that much, making it very powerful.

Slash, what are your favorite systems? Mine are the core change, emblem charge, zero 2, synchro, and plug in systems. I don't like the cartridge because they are all the same besides gatling, and I don't like 3 block for similar reasons. Zero and OS are just okay. I don't know enough about the other super bdaman systems to comment.

Great question dude. Some day, once/if I've reviewed all Battle & Super systems, I want to rank them. I would say that the Super EX & R systems are really cool. R is cool because every B-Daman from it is very distinct and the EX system is like the Plug-In system but with even more customization options. The E-Units (final super system) are a lot like the cartridge system in that they're 80-90% the same as each other. So, other than EX & R my tastes are a lot like yours.

I asled my mother for chrome zephyr because it looked cool, I got exactly what I wanted. It was cool black and useless as heck. I remember losing its parts just by looking at it. Still a great piece of memory!

Since Hasbro sorta butchered most B-Daman, we can kinda tell why the B-Daman franchise isn't as popular in the U.S as it is in Asia. This is why I only buy Takara Tomy/Sonokong B-Daman.

my one hand booster on my chrome zephyr never slid off but i only have 2 marbles right now but the trigger pad slid off like mad and my sister broke the booster and the helmet

yeah I looked into it further - I think they made the hook at the top-front-middle of the booster smaller for the hasbro release, which made it slide off more. My Takara booster isn't as bad. Like you said they still break though lol

Tips, if you put rubber band around mechanism that releases the marble, you get extra power. But it's prone to breakage. Another tip, if you put something rubbery under the launching mechanism, you can make a spinning marble rotation that shoots you marble so hard, it hits twice on the wall. Especially when using strike shot.

looking at this makes me question Kohdok's somewhat overpraising of the Zero system in comparison to the crossfire system (especially since it was nerfed a bit from the Japanese release). Sure these on the offset were more customizable than the crossfire bdaman but the first crossfire bdaman consistently did better releases than the first zero bdaman, with the only jank from what I can tell being lighting shark and the wheels of lightning dravise. Here a lot of Zero bdaman were janky, with non-locking parts and breaking issues and some rather poor designs.

Of course Helio Breaker rules among all Zero System B-Daman. It's just sheer, drunk power that can smash even the heaviest pins. None of the Zero 2 B-Daman can reach these kinds of heights if they do not rely on Strike Shots.

Helio Breaker Clear Purple Armor (tournament prize) 5. Jade Breaker (hasbro green recolor) 7. Magazine Breaker/Shatter Breaker (Helio helmet and foot, rekuso magazine and heels) 8. Gun Breaker (zero 2 version, uses roller core) 9. Gray Helio Breaker Armor from Customization set (this set also comes with gray versions of knight cavalry and rekuso) 10. Helio Breaker S (sonokong supersized version) Helio Dagger is its predecessor.

I agree. But I think the reason Beyblade has always done better, is because it's a lot simpler and more straightforward than B-Daman. With Beyblade, you get one, your friend gets one and you both can start ripping em around just like, in a bowl or something. B-Daman takes a lot more investment. You either need to get a playset like Break Bomber, or DHB Armor or a Crash Tower to play the main games marketed in the show. And when it's all aimed at kids, you gotta have parents willing to buy all that extra stuff. That can be a big ask.
