It is so funny how how often I really connect with you. This morning I told my husband that instead of working in my normal "other" room, I was going to work in my trailer. I've never considered the trailer an extra room before. It is a place where I store things that I use occasionally. Or as often happens, things I never use at all!!! My trailer is like your basement and one of the things I plan to organize, declutter, or just plain get rid of are my craft supplies!!!! So we are on brain sharing today.

Always a joy to see you declutter. I struggle very much to declutter my craft room, but I try. Some times I get rid of something, some times I don’t. The more times I go through the stuff, the more I success 😊

If you're going through it regularly, you will know what you have, so you won't accidentally buy stuff you don't actually need 🙂

We totally swept down and out the garage. Went through all supplies and really organized and decluttered any item not in use. Hubs let go of two large bins of books. He still has three bins: old professional journals, book drafts and lesson plans that are stored. He is rehoming his academia slowly. We actually had a good time and were not stressed at all. I went on to give the little garden shed a sweep out and checked for any critter nests. Such a good feeling. This week , I will be working on son’s walk through closet and bath downstairs.

My daughter brought it up just the other day, asking if I was going to knit him something for his birthday this year.........maybe not, he's going to be 23. 😂😆 , and, G.G.T.T.H. 💚💚💚

Hi, Diane, I often get yarn from decluttering😉… it’s so much easier to let things go, if they are useful for others. I can’t throw away things, which are in good shape. Today was again Minestrone time, can’t believe, you made the video about mum's minestrone 4 years ago…and can’t believe, I didn’t leave a commen🙄. Love, Monika❣

Always inspiring. Thank you! I just did my closet floor.. thinking it would take me “forever”… actually took under 10 minutes! 🤪 Drama queen I am. Next I will tackle my shed outside..new but has gotten a bit cluttered. This is another place I have over dramatized in my head. I just emptied it in under 12 minutes. The timer is best thing ever! It takes my visualization to reality and it is shocking what you can achieve in a tiny bit of time. Thank you so much for posting these continued videos. I know you say you have them in your playlist, but when your new videos pop-up as fresh, it just keeps reminding me that there are things I can do as well. Your ‘perfect’ home still has things that can go!! Thank you so much for continuing on the journey. It is so appreciated. Now off to organize that shed..big job-will take forever!😂🤪😵💫 (Where is that timer?)

My extra room is my study and declutter so 1 box of something. I have art and craft to go through. I also cleaned the ensuite again when I did the bathroom. My task this week is to start selling on ebay. My local charity shop I volunteered there and I didnt like them choosing my stuff not to sell and to keep for themselves. So I'll donate a bit of money after selling on ebay or fb marketplace. I thought some of the juvenile art stuff I may take to the after school care place nearby. Sadly I'm a bit behind as we got mould in our bedroom and st the front door I had to clean the wardrobe over 2 weeks including the clothes and buy some more storage. I also do a bit of gardening in this zone too and have a couple of tasks to do on weekend.

Watching this during work and then will be working on the weekly home blessing today. I'm in the fortunate/unfortunate position of having a new house (yay!) undergoing a lot of renovation and chaos (boo!). Things are still packed away and I can't yet set them right and find their permanent "homes". This makes the decluttering hard since I'm not entirely sure what the rooms will look like! I was discouraged and had given up on basic upkeep because I felt so stuck, but I've recommitted to the FlyLady system to at least keep some semblance of order while I wait patiently for the rooms to fall into place. Your videos keep me motivated!

Thanks Diane! I appreciate the last few minutes that you review what we should do. I wanted to ask - I don't recall you talking much about how often you do Zone work. I think once a few years ago you said you did only one thing a week. Is that still what you do? Do you only do 1 thing a week in the Zone, and for 15 minutes? So you do your Zone work usually on Monday's HB day? I've always wanted to ask this but just never did. Maybe I should have put it on my anti-procrastination day list. Hugs to you and thanks again. ~Dee

15 min four times a week is usual. You might get a lot done some weeks, not much others, depending on what tasks you choose.

@@DianeinDenmark Somehow I had a feeling they were cheaper there. Lol. That style is almost non-existent here, but I like them because they are zero waste. Was thinking maybe I could order that style instead of the normal ones we get for canning here because we are struggling to get lids. Lol. Until I saw the price of course. 🤣
