My best advise in terms of getting better as a designer, but also as a creative thinker would be to do your own passion projects, make up a business and create a brand for them! I really like the color palette for this! the emerald green and cream combination looks so luxurious! 🤩✨ A little tips that maybe could be useful(?), at 14:10, when you're trying to test the color palette for the logo, instead of dragging and fixing it in each artboard manually, you can try to use this method : -. Command / Ctrl + C things you want to copy -. Click the new destination blank artboard -. And then instead of 'V', use Command / Ctrl + *F* instead If successful, it will paste your copy exactly in the same place as the previous artboard 😆👍

quick tip: when using the shape builder tool, select the whole object you want to redesing then if you want to remove any part of the shape, instead of clicking and then using the selection tool to delete each, you can easily hold Alt\Option key and right click on the part of the shape you want to remove and then voila its gone!!

I have difficulty in Duplicating an outline object by shift+alt and then making it equally in the same intervals. Because when I shift+Alt then ctrl+D, instead of duplicating in the same intervals, the outline object duplications are gradually going down. Do you know why? Thank You in advance.

This is in regards to taking on your first cleint, posting work on social media, etc. The second is do passion projects! They allow you to improve your skills my actually doing, and allow you to express your creativity and find your style as a designer! I wish you the best with your diploma!

I think some misunderstand it and actually think I'm promoting creating a brand in 15 (which would be near impossible) but I think it's great for getting out of a little creative rut and setting yourself a challenge (especially one with a time limit) really helps that, well it helps me anyway! I have a biased towards Illustrator because I use it most, but it all depends on what type of design work you want to do. Illustrator for branding and logos in my opinion, and photoshop for other stuff like social media etc.

you can press alt when u use the shape builder tool to instantly delete the form. You dont need to click on it once and then delete it again xD

The logo type looks so good creating it it under 8 minutes is great. The icon was little off but i can understant the pressure and all, not at all bad for under 15 minutes. But still Uber is my favourite when it comes to under 15 minute design

I must admit Uber is my fav too! I think I did well with this but if I spent my usual amount of time on it, I think I could have come up with something better, especially when it comes to the logomark! Appreciate the feedback 😊
