Another great video. It inspires me to go out more often with the camera, even if I only have 15 minutes. There's a little kind of game I play when watching these photo walk video's; I try to virtually join the walk and see where I would stop and imagine the photographs I would take. And then be pleasantly surprised by the images you saw and took. I already look forward to the next.

Nice video, it's great to see your process and imagine how you will photograph what you see and then seeing how you actually did it. Absolutely agree that it's important to relax and not force "finding" a photo, that doesn't work. It will be fun to see the same walk again, maybe during another part of the day or another season, and I'm sure you'll end up with another 16 completely different images :D

Enjoyable walk in a visually rich area, love those industrial, alley locations. I keep wishing for a model, so many good backgrounds for a cool portrait shoot too. The shot where you looked up, I really liked the video viewpoint with the strong angle of the building and the sky. Just after the closed gym I also loved those window reflections on the black pavement, I keep thinking, look down, look down! I am going to try this timed walk, but maybe not today as the temperature here in South Carolina is 107º F.

Interesting to see how you add drama to very simple scenes in your edits and comparing what you respond to with my own observations. You really made the most of a fairly minimal environment. I often make photos like this at the start of a walk to sort of warm up or as you say, you might have something in mind but another thing catches your eye, so you take that photo. I like your stress free approach to it. I can get a bit down if I’m not finding anything i feel strongly about, so it’s good attitude to just chill a bit and enjoy the activity. I also love the evf and the flexibility of modern digital cameras.

I enjoyed this so much! Thank you for the inspiration - this made me realize that I put too much pressure on myself to get out and have some sort of plan or intended result and nope… just go out and walk for 15 minutes and if you shoot something you like - great, but if not that’s ok too… hmmmm I know this sounds like it should be self evident but… for me obviously not 😬🤣 Look forward to walking with you again soon. I get a lot of fun/utility out of little photo walks myself. Even repeatedly walking along a similar path, I find new things, or I find different views of things. I also have been “testing” a few new cameras, film stocks, and lenses this spring so I sometimes use a few similar shots to see how things react. I should probably try to reduce variables more, to make it more “scientific” but… I’ve been having a lot of fun 😸

So funny! Here, in America, our trash bags are white and black. Yours appear to be blue. The image of the blue trash bags against the blue building at around 15:00 would have been fantastic in my eye, but I guess so common there that you didn't see it or was too common to bother.
