The pasta and tomato sauce recipe is ready in 15 minutes. You need simple ingredients and a speedy dinner is ready!
Ingredients (2 servings):
400 g fresh tomatoes
50 g onions (1 small onion)
5 g garlic (1 clove)
30 g vegetable oil
50 g water
160 g spaghetti
Spices for the sauce:
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp ground coriander
½ tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt (5 g)
1 tsp sugar
Instructions:
First, prepare the spices. Mix 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp ground coriander, ½ tsp white pepper, 1 tsp salt (5 g), and 1 tsp sugar.
Cut 400 g of fresh tomatoes into pieces. Chop 50 g of onion and mince 1 clove of garlic. The sauce cooks very quickly, so it is better to prepare everything beforehand.
Heat a pan with water to cook spaghetti. Add 160 g spaghetti to boiling water and cook until al dente.
In the meantime, pour 30 g of oil into a frying pan and add 50 g of chopped onion. Fry over medium heat (6 of 9) for 4-5 minutes until transparent. Add 5 g of minced garlic (1 clove). Fry for around 1 minute and mix.
Add spices and stir. Add 50 g of water.
Add tomatoes and simmer for 8-10 minutes under the lid. Stir occasionally.
Blend the sauce in a blender until smooth.*
Return the sauce to the pan, add cooked spaghetti, and stir. Serve and enjoy!
Tips
You can strain the sauce through a sieve. This will produce extra smooth tomato sauce without any tomato skin. We don’t bother with skins, so we don’t do this.
