My first tax person had me owing nearly $3k. My second advisor asked questions, and now I'm being refunded. A good tax advisor will TRY to save you money.

Cutting back on energy drinks, quitting cigarettes with the help of nicotine patches were the two biggest moves I made, you don't realize how much you're spending until you stop.

People who have money problems choose to have money problems. I eat out like once a month, max. That right there is huge. I use cards to get the cash back while carry no balance each month. I dispise paying interest and so pay cash or simply don't buy it. Keep the lights off. Wear a sweatshirt instead of turning up the heat ECT. There is always fat to trim from ones spending.

lol during winter I’ll turn on the heat while bathing so I don’t freeze when I get out of the shower, and turn it off when I get dried off.

My grandfather, who grew up during The Great Depression, would negotiate prices for everything... from cans of soup to automobiles. He paid cash for everything and never borrowed money. He would find dented cans of soup in the grocery store and ask for a discount. He usually got it half off.

If you are truly struggling, I highly recommend the prepper princess videos. She can really help you live on almost nothing so you can dig yourself out. He is correct you must always associate debt with danger that is not hyperbole it will destroy you and your future. No one ever ever regrets getting out of debt. Everyone always said thank God I got out of debt. I would be so screwed if I hadn’t done that.

As an immigrant, I would like to know what these funding and programs are, as I clearly missed out! Nothing at all was given to me. I had to work just like everybody else, paying taxes and spending a LOT of money along on the way. Temporary residence with restrictions, lift restrictions, apply for permanent residence, apply for naturalization. Along the way, I paid the same amounts for food, utilities, transportation, clothing, etc, as US Americans. it would be an act of kindness to immigrants if you would detail these funding and program opportunities. Jaspreet's parents obviously didn't know about them either.

You definitely cannot barter when it comes to your utility bills and such. It doesn’t work that way. Managers don’t have authority to just lower your bill it isn’t their money. Just because you ask nice your bill doesn’t become lower. You pay for the service that you use. I run a home service business and will always get customers trying to chew the prices down. In reality if a person can’t afford the services move on. Your advice on here way off
