"Knowing your limits is a strength, not a weakness" (Kim Harrison) I have enjoyed all your videos as they have inspired me to go on my grey journey, and I am not regretting it at all. I love my salt and pepper look and I can't wait to be completely dye free. For months, I have agonized about starting a KZbin channel but being a full time high school teacher and having other commitments, I really don't think I would have the time to commit to it because I know my limits!!! 🥰👍

You have been such an encouragement to me in my own gray hair journey! I am six months in, and I have similar coloring to you, so YOU have been a main source of inspiration! Thanks for taking the time to be vulnerable and open. It's truly be an inspiration to watch your videos.

Hey Cat! Do not feel guilty. Your job, friends, and family come first. Just like ditching your diet should be organic, social media and KZbin content should be too. Create content when it fits your schedule and brings you joy. That what’s great about subscribing and getting notifications. And…your hair looks great wavy!! That’s so much growth in a year. 🤍

You look great and thank you for being a good example. Its so important that we listen to our inner wisdem and let go of what does not serve us. You can be proud of yourself for being so courageous to share this with us. Guilt is not needed. I like watching your videos regardless how often they come. Being only 3 months in the transition I need a lot of patience ... and role models like you 🙂

“Stop fighting reality” - I love that! Glad you are doing what works for you. I found your videos when I first started this journey, a few months after yours started, and enjoy your check-ins whenever you have them. I’ve eschewed social media for the most part, largely because it felt like another burder to maintain, so I can absolutely relate to what you’ve said. My journey is going well! I had my first salon haircut last month in well over a year, and have been using overtone to ease the transition. I’ve been playing with some fun colors of it, too, from time to time. I am enjoying my “grombre”, so I’m planning on doing trims and no big chop. Thanks again for your videos and especially your candor - that’s why I love your channel!

Thank you for sharing your journey with us and definitely toss those guilt bricks aside! I stumbled upon you many months back when I just up and decided at my hair chair appointment last December to not do highlights/low lights. I had been doing them for nearly 20 years. I have very curly hair, blonde but of course roots are dark with a few slivers of the silver 🤪 I’m trying to hold true to this journey I’ve been barked upon as well and hearing you say things like you’re no longer fighting your body and just letting reality be reality is very inspiring thank you Kat!!! Ohhh and your waves look awesome 🤩

Hey from the UK! Your hair looks great! Lovely greys and this length suits you 🙂. I too am going through my transition as a Silver Sister and find your videos and content a real inspiration. It's great to hear that others are going through similar thoughts and feelings on the 'embracing our greys' journey. I recently had my shoulder-length hair cut to a short bob, and I'm now looking forward to this growing out with my natural greys. Also, please do not feel guilty about your social activity. You need to put yourself first 😀. It takes alot of time and energy to manage our lives day-to-day so cutting back on managing multiple social accounts is definitely a good thing👍. So...kick-back, listen and accept what your mind and body are telling you. You're absolutely doing the right thing girl! Take care 😃🙏

Never feel guilty!! I announced on my latest video that I won’t be posting as much mainly because life is returning to normal now and I don’t have the time. I started posting regularly as I had loads of time during lockdown. Editing takes ages and I honestly now just want to live a bit 🤣 you have to do what makes you happy 😃 💕💕

Please do not feel guilty. If we've learned anything from the last year and a half, it's that life is so precious and spending time with family and friends plus, pursuing careers are important priorities. I'm 66 weeks into my gray hair transition and follow many YTubers who are or who have done the same. The initial period is the scariest and there's lots to talk about but as time goes on, life goes on and it's all ok. BTW, don't feel that you have to cut out all the dye right away. I'm a long-hair girl and I need my length even if it means having the demarcation line. Your hair looks terrific and so healthy. Be well.

i like that! thank you.. stop fighting reality! i got here looking for ideas to highlight my newly gray hair.. I stopped coloring my hair, but Im getting peer pressure from my younger sisters to color my or highlight my hair again. They think it's not normal for woman to have a young looking face and gray hair, but I do hate the gray roots and I have to stop fighting reality. Thank you Darling!

Thank you for your honesty and making yourself vulnerable to be real it’s so refreshing! 👏👌👍 Have you found the texture of your hair has changed at all? I have very fine hair and am wondering if it will change the appearance and texture if I let the dye grow out to help it thicken? 🤔

Thank for the update and yes, you do you!!! Also, since it’s been 15 months since ditching the dye are you still ditching the diet as well? And if so, what affects have you seen? Mentality, weight loss/gain/plateau?
@DitchingDietsDye3 жыл бұрын
It's been a bit longer with ditching diets, and I'm in a good place with it. My weight stabilized in the fall and has been pretty steady overall. I'm about a size larger than before when I was more restrictive, and while I miss some clothes, I've got new clothes that are comfortable and feel good. I don't constantly think about food like I used to, and it's incredibly freeing.

Dr. Laura reserves the guilt feelings for murderers, cheaters etc. 😬You felt mostly torn and bad....anyway the torn feelings is just your gut telling you it is just not your thing right now! That is ok! That is how you can tell what is more important! All good!
