You can ask Mike Bruski about Joe during mission 14 where Joe gets kidnapped You can also complete mission 6 (the one where you break into the Feds police station) without triggering the alarm, by not listening to the objective marker and taking a look around the station until you find the alarm and disable it, and different cutscenes play according to your success/failure You can attempt to visit your sister immediately once you leave prison, but her husband Eric throws you out There are SEVERAL ways to save Leo Galante, each with their own cutscene and/or voicelines. and also one cutscene for when you fail and both get fucking shot XD During the mission where you have to get rid of a body in the trunk of a car (the black dude you accidentally get killed in his bar) instead of driving across the entire city to Bruski’s scrapyard, you can just dump the car into the river/sea The police system is superb, they react to your law breaking according to its severity: For instance - Fighting on the streets will get you a warning, Loitering will make the cops inspect your ID, Speeding or minor crashes will get you to pay a fine Cops will inspect your car if it’s covered in blood, you can wash your car at any pump station Any crime involving killing or shooting, or pissing off the police will result in an arrest Firing military-grade weaponry outside will give the cops a greenlight to shoot you on sight, HOWEVER they can still only arrest you if they get close enough, or catch you in a car Continuously causing havoc and killing officers will result in Automatic weapons being deployed and Roadblocks all over the city, while civillians will mostly disappear from the streets and shops will close Speaking of shops, robbing one will result in the cashier giving your description to the police, if you were to return no matter how you are dressed they recognize you and cops inside the shop immediately arrest you If you kill the cashier the shop will be closed under investigation for the next few missions Coming back to a once-robbed shop later, you will find more security inside and outside the shop, killing the security might make the gang they belong to, start a manhunt against you This is the most underrated game out there

Mafia 2 is easily one of my most favourite games of all time, definitely Top 3. I have so many fond memories of this incredible game. The brilliant characters, phenomenal story, awesome music, great gameplay, graphics that still hold up today, and the rich immersive world. Mafia 2’s open world feels more alive and lived in than most modern games do, even GTA V. The feeling of this is really helped by the attention to detail. I love Red Dead Redemption 2, but the things people were raving about in that game when in regards to detail, Mafia 2 has already done a fair few of them. I would love to see a remaster/remake of Mafia 2, and/or a Mafia 4 made with the same love and care that went into Mafia 2. With next generation consoles coming up, hopefully we may see it in a few years or so.

Mafia 2 was a head of its time. I loved it and still do. One thing i loved(it returned in mafia 3) was steering lock. No other game to my knowledge with drivable cars has ever introduced it. When you park a car up in real life and you leave the steering say to left, it stays to left because of steering lock. Mafia 2/3 does that. It’s a little feature but it makes immersion great in Mafia

There's also a mission(forgot which one it was since it's been 10yrs). Where you go into the sewers and get dirty. If you complete the mission while being dirty you'll get a cutscene where everyone in the bar stares at you in disgust. But if you decide to change clothes before you complete the mission you'll get a regular cutscene of you entering the bar normally and having a normal conversation.

This Gem was way ahead of it's time, at the time everyone was about GTA (IV), Crackdown and Saints Row. This game was under the radar yet still more popular than current games. I first played this game on 360 and was pretty amazed by how well it looked for the system, I bought it on ps3 years ago. Great video 👍

This game is a work of art. The first time I played it was in 2016 ... kind of late. I didn't get his glory in 2010. But even then I was still impressed. The characters, the story, the city were all well thought out and became an extraordinary game. Years have passed and I am still glad for him. A remaster in the future with more missions and new things added would bring back the former glory. I hope it will appear in the near future.

Same thing happens when you blow up a hearse, because in the back there’s a coffin with a person in it. It’s weird how they designed it tho because the foot end of the lid is closed and the head end is open with just a floating head in it lol.
