Metroid Prime is in the top 3 gamecube games. Metal gear solid twin snakes and skies of arcadia and MP are the top 3. PSO 1 and 2 PSO 3 Card Revolution. Why would you use a third party memory card? the nintendo ones were not much more. paper mario animal crossing are in the top 10 Eternal Darkness ( lost kingdoms 1 and 2 and evolution 1 and 2 were good not in the top 10). Mario sunshine was crap and Zelda twilight princess was crap hated the wolf part like wtf. Zelda wind waker is in the top 5 games. Thanking you for highlighting Burnout 2. My favorite Burnout Game also. It's the best looking one in my opinion. I have never liked the blurry, tinted graphics of Burnout 3 and 4 that looks like someone smeared Vaseline across the lens. Burnout 2 is crisp. Crisp Controls. Crisp Graphics. Crisp, clean interface. It's just perfect in almost everyway.

Agree! The burnout games got messy after EA took over! Still enjoy them though, but they aren’t arcade perfection like 2 is!

I’ve started booting my pal games up into Swiss using homebrew so I can force them into 480p! The difference is night and day! There’s only a few that don’t work from what I’ve tried so far!

Love your videos about GameCube. I’m a huge fan of the console, so it’s really nice to hear other fans talk about their favourite memories with the console Also was caught off guard by someone else saying “Nana”. Nice to hear someone talk so favourably about 3D Rayman games. I think they are amonst the best of the genre, but most 'repeat everything I've heard b4 youtubers' say the 2D's are better, bleugh! Keep up the original thoughts. You are very engaging.

I really enjoy both Rayman tyles! I'm sure everyone can agree that scrapping Rayman 4 in favour of the Rabbids games was a bad idea at least! Grrr!

Thanks for sharing. I remember my brother loved Metroid Prime and Tales of Symphonia, but I never got round to playing them. Loved Ikaruga - but I think I played it on Xbox 360 not Gamecube. I heard that the WiiU makes a great GameCube emulation machine if you hack it, so maybe I'll try that and revisit some of these games.

Another fantastic vid, the Gamecube truly was one of the greats. Some absolute classics on this list too, just like the last one. Played many on the Ps2 but I love how the GC incorporates different elements especially, like utilizing the advance for certain games. Loved the story for metroid prime. I remember first playing it and was blown away at the graphics and ease of gameplay. Such a cool shooter that still holds up today. We always enjoyed Burnout 3 the most, but after you saying that going back to B2 suprised you with how great it having a better experience, we're going to explore it again. So thanks again for the vid and keep up the stellar work man! 😉🤙

Ah club Nintendo, I collected all the stars I could from my games and my friends. The only item I ever redeemed from the website was the Zelda Collectors edition game. I was working at my part time job when it would go live so I had to ask my sister to order it on my behalf. A good list, I saw the opening cinematic plus played the first 5-10 minutes of REmake in a local shop and was blown away by the graphics. If you don’t want to replay those 60-70 hours of Skies of Arcadia there are ways of copying saves to memory cards as people put theirs online. So hopefully there would be one close to where you lost yours.

Sky of Arcadia Legends looks quite awesome. Battle scenes sort of remind me of Chrono Cross. I believe it's a remake of the same Saturn game? Sadly I didn't own a Gamecube, although I purchased some games that I planned to play later if I ended to own a GameCube. I in fact own both Baiten Kaitos 1 & 2. I never played them.

I am playing Sphinx now. Down time from the virus. It reminds me of Jak. I miss Jak. I feel like they should have made that cell shading schema from Wind Waker a theme for the entire system. Everyone should have made their own entry in version.

Fab vid albeit I’ve had to just buy 3 of your picks 😁. Sphinx, Resi and Battallion. Ikaruga is amazing but tough as nails; it popped up on the Switch store, a cheaper alternative as the GC price is soaring high. Hope you’re well.

I watched both of your recent favourite gamecube videos. Great choices although I would have included Eternal Darkness which I believe is still a gamecube exclusive. I really recommend you play that one. The only ones I'm missing from your list are Vexx and Skies of Arcadia Legends.

Nice list of games. I am usually wary of the lesser-known 3D platformers but might look into Vexx For those who aren't aware, every region had a different track list for the Donkey Konga series. Most songs are in most regions, but there are region-exclusive songs. For example, Donkey Konga 1 has a the Melee Theme only in PAL, the Detective Conan opening theme only in NTSC-J, and the original Pokemon Theme only in the NTSC region. (That was just a quick search so that may not be 100% correct but you get the idea). Because of this I have a total of 6 Donkey Konga games (DK1 in all regions, DK2 in NTSC and NTSC-J, and DK3 in NTSC-J. I was able to get all the Japanese versions to work, but unfortunately I can't get the PAL Donkey Konga to work, despite being able to play all my other PAL Gamecube and Wii games. If you are a huge Donkey Konga fan, you may wish to track down versions from other regions! :D

I'm a big fan of Donkey Konga, such a cool controller that is really good fun and on Jungle Beat too. Agree Warioworld should get more love too, seems to get overlooked and going up in price now perhaps because it wasn't popular back in the day. Great Video 👍

When Acclaim went under, I almost bought the rights to Vexx. Kicking myself that I didn't. BUt it was way too much for me back then :( BTW you might also like Haven if you're into games like that

Damn thats a shame, so someone must have the rights to the Vexx IP now then.. Would be good to see a port or remake! It was a fun platformer for the time! Think i've got Haven but have never played it.. might give it a go next time i've got the PS2 out then!
