I don’t get it. Iraq and India are both considered 3rd world countries. We both have street food vendors but we don’t have problem with hygiene like they do in India. I even been to Malaysia and I felt comfortable eating from street vendors. I don’t know why India has this problem.

These street food market´s have to control and regulated by the health authorities! And food seller have to absolve a hygienic teaching and western Standards of food handling to get a license as street food seller! I think slowly but surely that can help for better conditions in a constant controlled industry...

Everyone in India are advised not to eat such street food, this is basically poor people earning money for living. They lived in such conditions so they don't mind. There are many good restaurants in India which follow all hygiene procedures. Majority of people who can afford will ofcourse choose that instead of this.

Some may even return from the toliet and EVER wash there hands be careful what you eat and were . Outside street food don’t Go to a restaurant. And most of these street food is near the street you are basically eating air pollution as well. The people handling the food do t learn about proper hygiene it’s sad there aren’t laws to shut these places down .
