I too fall into the category of, let's call it: "Lumberjack Chic". From time to time, so I'm pretty much on board with everything mentioned here. Good Job! I do have to say though, the manliest thing said in this video has to be "I'm really fussy about socks". 💪😎

Plenty of fine choices, the 3sixteen flannel is killer, but nothing quite matched up to the sweater/jumper joke. A belter, well done.

That shirt looks great on you, but I feel like it needs to be tailored 2 inches shorter to be worn untucked. Just makes your legs look really short hanging that low with the shorter denim jacket. Probably looks better in person, though I'd still hem it a bit up. And since I know you don't mind having clothes tailored I'd give it a go. Hope you and family are doing well
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
You know what. You’re totally right. It’s one of these things where you look in the mirror and think, nice these colours work and then totally miss the fact that the proportions are messed up.
@didamnesia35752 жыл бұрын
@@CeeAreDee well it is a great shirt though! And it does work with the ensemble I wasn't trying to talk smack, just giving my 2 cents on looking your best. I have been, and will continue to be as a short man, guilty of wearing too long a shirt myself. I recently pulled out the old sewing machine and started hemming my chinos and I'm going to hopefully do a couple shirts soon. Had to take my jeans in to a tailor, couldn't fit the 22oz denim under a consumer grade machine's foot.

If you are looking for a bit less workwear vibe and everyday gloves I am going to throw a danish brand in the mix here - Rhanders - made in Denmark since 1811, with roots going back to the 1250's. Have had a pair for 5 years now and they have not let me down.
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
Ah. They look amazing! I always lean to the workwear vibe due to the unavailability of decent alternatives.
@Tharification2 жыл бұрын
@@CeeAreDee Glad to hear that you like them! Understandably I do the same thing for other menswear, but I prefer the less workwear vibe for gloves. (As a Dane I hope you give Rhanders a try).

Hmm. Never thought about it. Not too much to say I guess. Surly cross check frame built up with various bits and bobs found from around the internet. The most practical addition was the pizza carrier with the plastic box zip tied on.

I don't feel comfortable with a shirt hanging below the trucker jacket. Other than that, nice video.

Hello Sir, I would like to ask you a question: I have a pair of Levi's 512 premium. Love it l, best jeans I've ever had. I came across selvedge denim stuff. Really would like to get into this! I have been trying to find info on 512s made & crafted version. Do you know if the fit is identical to the normal 512s? And if not should I size up or down ? Cheers
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy. I’m afraid I don’t have any experience with those models. Best would be to buy them from a place with good size guides and a good return policy. Or buy a couple of sizes and see what’s suits best.
@torma19852 жыл бұрын
@@CeeAreDee thank you. This is fair enough but my question really I guess is: are they gonna shrink after I wash them and not stretch back out? I'm assuming most models nowadays, including Levi's are pre washed or pre soaked so they shouldn't shrink? Have I answered my own question? 🙂

I like Mr Fatman hats but as a fat man it’s a bit too prone to jokes to have it on a label on my forehead. I’ve gone for the Rototo Aran indigo cap to see how it fades.

Attention people of planet earth: Stop buying different brands and focus on two mainly IRON HEART AND RGT. After buying so much from them I have come to final thoughts: Fit= RGT Superb quality= IRON HEART Both American made and Japanese as well. Other brands are ok but would never come close to them at all: Benzak, Levi’s made and crafted, 3sixteen, tanuki, pure blue Japan… There is one which is also superb but extremely expensive and is out of my range just because I don’t wanna spend that much on clothes but I will buy one jacket from them at least in the next days: The real mccoys( out of this world quality!)
