You should put timestamps/names on every part of your video. It makes it a lot easier to navigate through them

I think you know this, but let me mention it anyways - not only preview you can put in a separate window but individual scenes and even sources. - to fine tune position of your sources you can edit transform and operate with raw numbers. - groups are much more powerful than just a folder. For example you can hide source in a group, and it will be hidden in all scenes with that group automatically. Great video overall, I've learnt a few tricks, thanks.

It might be because I'm 40 but I find your tutorials more enjoyable and more useful than most of the young guys (very knowledgeable people too) who share tips.

Nay. You are not doing anything wrong. Your subs to views ratio is way higher than mine and most others. You are a bit in your face at the start of your videos, but after watching 3 or 4 now, I am used to you. 😀 I do shoppables for AMZ for a good while but planning to go live in December. I messed around with OBS before, and your videos are showing me stuff I had not tried. Thank you.

I use nested scenes and scene preview full screen to make a custom multi viewer that has my scenes but also my sources. I use an atem mini with the HDMI out into a deck link mini in my system so my program and preview of cuts are in my multi viewer.

Sounds like an awesome setup!

another fun thing with the custom resolution i did for a while was adding 50 pixels to the bottom of my 16:9 resolution, so that i could display things like my sub goal and recent donations and all of those metrics on a bar at the bottom of my screen without actually covering up my 16:9 gameplay

@Michael Feyrer Jr. - Loved all your Tips! I change my output resolution all the time, but I have to manually do it each time, any way I can link the changes in output resolution to a profile? If you can, apparently I am doing it wrong :)

Streaming in other resolutions: Thanks for including that. I had already found that and we use it all the time. The largest group of our viewers are in the states (about 40%) but we've got a lot of viewers across the world and some in countries that have iffy Internet, or at least slow Internet. So we broadcast in 540p so they don't get fits and starts from buffering.

Image masks: You don't need to create an alpha channel image. A normal colour/greyscale image works as well, but you need to leave the filter on "Alpha Mask (color channel)". This way you can see what the mask actually looks like. It is especially useful if you have named them Mask##.png
