It's gratifying to know that many of these Hollywood secrets are still in use today. I don't use fancy lip balm. I use brown sugar and Vaseline as a lip scrub & Vaseline on my lips at night. For my nails I soak once a week in warm olive oil, but use Vaseline Jelly every night around my nail and cuticle. I also do like Ms Taylor & MM as well & microblade my face. Followed by an ice cold wash cloth and a mix of Hyloronic acid and Vaseline the first day. I'm in my sixties and the waiter at a local restaurant asked me if I was eligible for the senior discount. I dress young, wear my hair long, wear stylish jewlery, lots of sunscreen and never go out without my brows done, mascara, and a lip product even to run to the local grocery store.

Beauty tip for actresses these days = Plastic surgery
@teresas81734 жыл бұрын
Frankie Lima... that’s true and plastic surgery and other beauty procedures ( such as lasers , ultrasound, etc) have come a looong way. I’m always surprised when people comment that an actress is aging so well. Well, duh, of course they are, they have so much at their disposal to look fantastic! They also have the money to afford it all.

I’ve done the same mascara trick as Audrey Hepburn with clumps, but I use a toothpick. But I don’t do EVERY lash. Another tip for the lashes to look less clumpy is to not coat the very end of your lashes (the end that’s away from your eye) as that’s where they tend to clump and thicken, and it’s more noticeable there

Rita Hayworth (my favorite Old Hollywood actress) was actually a natural brunette. The studio bosses decided to make her a redhead and they also decided to have electrolysis hair removal done her hairline to take away her natural widow's peak. The changes paid off and made her stand out in movies she was in afterwards and she became one of the most famous actresses of the Golden Era of Hollywood.

Funny how things today are marketed as a new concept, like eye gloss, but it’s a very similar concept to have shiny eyelids. Most women contour their forehead to make it smaller but Ingrid made hers bigger. I wonder how they would look without their secrets, like Vivian not over lining her lips, Ingrid with more hair, Marylin with one shade of lipstick, better yet, pastel pink! I like how you demonstrate on the pictures.
