The only reason A&M was/is ranked so high is because they beat Bama, and now the college football gods can’t have Bama as a #2,3 or 4 team if A&M isn’t a highly ranked team. But Bama isn’t nearly as good as they have been in years past. The college football gods just want their money. He's tough kid but his throwing accuracy is not so good. So A@M this year will be either 3 or 4 losses. Spiller made a mistake when he got sack for a safety. You never try to go back and fourth in the end zone it's power straight ahead. A@M makes too many mistakes on the field.

I've been telling people they were trash and had literally everything go in their favor in that ole miss game. No one listened and claimed I was making excuses. Who is 8-2 and who is 6-4? This loss hurt like a bitch. Just when I thought A&M and Calzada were finding their rhythm these past few games (and with the outside chance of us getting to the playoffs), we had to get beat down by Ole Miss in the first half. Our dense did a good jab at holding them to only 15 points in the first half (along with some poor play calls from Ole Miss). Besides our defense though, Calzada kept throwing high passes which eventually led to the pic that swung the tide of the second half, and Jimbo kept using Spiller with Achane for the run game even though he couldn't get anything going. Gotta give credit to our mostly freshman o-line for giving Calzada tons of time but mainly gotta give credit to Ole Miss's high tempo offense and great defense, they played a great game. A&M will be back next year though, mark my words!!

Don’t be fooled. Mississippi‘a defense is still terrible. Jimbo has better players but his system is too complex and he won’t adapt throughout the game. He has to get Calzada to take more shots and he’s gotta get his players to the edge instead of running it up the middle.

I don’t think their defense is “terrible”. But it isn’t as dominant as it appeared to be for sure. A&M got out coached the first half. They made adjustments second half and moved the ball better. But ole miss defense has improved each week and is middle of the pack.
