Carolina is now in her 4th year of her Bachelors in Sociology degree at the University of British Columbia. Since last year, she has: completed more courses, started volunteering as a youth facilitator and as a co-ordinator for an organization that aims to improve conditions for the homeless, was accepted into a specialized program for ethnographic research, and has had the opportunity to see how her studies apply in real life by visiting safe injection sites with her class. She is still aiming to become a judge one day, but has also expanded her aspirations to include becoming a law professor. While she’s not 100% sure where she’ll end up, she continues to work in a field she is passionate about and we wish her all the best in her career and her future! 📚❤️

For those who struggle with studying here's some tips I've learned: If you are having trouble studying a certain subject such as ionic bonds in chem first make notes on the basics then start branching off into the more difficult stuff, sometimes you have to go back to go forward. For those who find it hard to concentrate try to break up your studying instead on doing am your do 20 mins and have a 10 mins break it will help to bot let your mind wander off. For this who find it hard to read blocks of information try to look at videos such as on KZbin. Then write notes on it. Finally covert them into a mind map every day try to remember a section of that mind map. This can also be done with revision cards in replacement of mind maps. I hope these help people -giving out virtual free hugs-

I'm watching this video 3 years later. The fact that Cristine has so generously funded tuition for a student and that she cared enough to update us is so heartwarming. The story of the tuition winner is amazing! As someone studying the humanities as an undergrad it makes me feel so relieved that both humanities and science can indeed intersect (I love both humanities and math) and result in exciting career opportunities. One of the things I like about Cristine is that she stands for an academic start in life and encourages her viewers to try hard in school and achieve the best. Unlike a lot of other KZbinrs, who try to 'get down with the kids' (which FYI sounds very perverted) and say the school is 'stupid' and 'boring' and that all the stuff you learn there isn't going to benefit you later on in your life, which is so very incorrect. In fact, my parents stand with me in this particular area to do with comedy and child - directed content. They say that the stuff with people saying school is rubbish are making total crap that rots your brain, and lets be honest - being told that school is ridiculous is going to make you lose a few brain cells. The only reason they are comfortable with me watching Cristine is because I told them about her job in Criminology and her Masters' degree. Basically, Cristine makes sense and she stands for things not a lot of others do, and she is correct in doing so. REAL TALK OVER EARTHLINGS. Peace out xx.
