true, but these companies never make it easy to sleep when it's needed, some companies know the importance and will allow their drivers to sleep whenever needed, but some of them are super pushy and will put your health and the product at risk by trying to guilt trip you into getting to the destination faster, which is irresponsible and that person at the desk should probably be fired for putting that kind of pressure on the truck drivers.

2 nights ago I Was driving the truck back home and as I'm exiting the tunnel a drunk guy Was sleeping on the edge of the outside tunnel. All he needs is to fall on the road, and he is done for , so I beeped the horn and he woke up and moved from there, his arm Was too close to the road as well, so I call this guy lucky to stay alive that night, wish I had a dashcam to post it here

Some time last year 2022, i drove from Cali to Kansas. 1st and last time I'm ever doin that. Once i hit Oklahoma, the wind was scary af and there was so many semi truck and what scared me the most was the lane!! They should've made them more wider or a big double yellow line in between both drivers goin opposite directions all the way!! Man, you can feel the wind kncocking your car when ever the big rig pass by. I was so paranoid for the big rigs to come into my lane cus i saw a few swerving on that trip. Definitely wouldn't wanna go head on collision with a big rig

Drove a truck 30 yrs and zero accidents and worked for a company that pushed the crap out of the drivers . 19 stops most hand unload and 907 miles non stop no breaks till route was completed. I could do it in 23 hrs and 45 minutes

At 2:38 my dads a truck driver and he said the reason why that guys breaks weren’t working is because he was riding on them while going down a hill or stopping too much causing them to heat up and not work. If I’m correct the way that he was supposed to do it was to press on the brakes release when the wheels lock, it's called stab braking? That’s also why on some highways have runaway truck ramps.
