I realized I’m a stylist, I’m great at making clients feel AMAZING after a couple hours. I’m not a real estate expert or an e-commerce guru but I’ve invested money into those businesses thinking I was making the right move for my family. I now know to focus on being a hairstylist and MASTER IT! Anyway the fallout cost me my house ( only had 6 years left on the mortgage) . My sanity ( diagnosed nut job now) and the get up and go that I always relied on failed me...could'nt get back up. Physical health and age decided to get their pennies worth of a laugh at me too. So...sod this, its not me to be this. You have really helped ! Incentive is there again. Loved this overall. (Secret). One comment though regarding replacing the iPhone every 1 or 2 years. It's true that marketing is very effective on the masses but in this case, one of the main reasons people replace such an expensive personal tool is not so much the herd mentality as the fact that the battery gives you about 50% of the original life after 2 years and it drives people insane that their phone is dead half way through the day. Also, unless you know to buy a lot of extra storage at the outset, 2 years later, you won't have enough functionality to even receive pictures without being forced to delete others first. So that's really about the manufacturer designing something that forces people to replace before the actual functionality ceases to work. But thanks for this great video. Really good advice.

"Think and Grow Rich" as a 'cult' classic... Never thought of it that way... But if you've read it, you know it's not about just thinking, it's about doing. In this video, you mention how Entrepreneurs plan out their year rather than setting "resolutions" and they follow that plan... This is exactly an example of "thinking" as it pertains to the book. Once you've had the thought and worked it out in your mind, you execute it. This is the exact principle of "Think and Grow Rich," how do the 500 most successful people (at the time) think differently than the rest of us! Now "The Secret" that's a waste of time... paraphrasing, "if you sit around and think hard enough, it will come to pass!" Sure!

The one that stand out the most about these secrets is ALL of those 16. They all ring true and it's only secret because you are not aware of. So knowledge and its application create the wealth which differentiate the rich from the poor.

What a coincidence. I just started reading Rich dad Poor Dad and was reading the chapter he talks about how the rich uses corporations to pay less taxes, and now Alux talks about it too in rule #2. Cool 👍

Here in Brazil 2 doesn't work. Because there is a tax called "presumed", this means that even after selling a product below cost, we are STILL obliged to pay tax. This item 2 is only valid for countries that have tax on profit, if the profit is zero, zero tax.

Hindsight Is 20/20 !!! #6 would have saved me a job.. but I followed blindly! #7 is something I’d love to learn more about. I am on a limited budget and very interested in “the next crisis” (I have figured that out myself) but I need to learn is “using others money”.. I look forward to more from Alex! Thank you for your sharing this insight.

That TRICK has almost jumped me from my seat, I can just PAY a 20% downpayment on a property and RENT it out, the mortgage of the property will come from the RENTs of the tenant, I do not have to pay it from my OWN money, that is SMART and a game changing trick...ALux, BIG thanx...

Number 10. Before Alux I would never have considered buying land, as I am not interested (and for the moment able) to buy a house. Now when I visit Portugal I look at the prices for land. It's within my reach and we plan to retire there in many decades from now.

Secret - Theres no secret to getting rich, just information not yet known. . The "Penny saved is a penny earned" phrase really confirmed to myself about how ii've whats spent my money. Ppl always say I don't need certain things yet, I see the value in them and always make more money if this stuff. Its just work, that satisfies my love of shopping 😁

#2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 YES, YES, YES. I disagree with #7 - Alux is quoting Warren Buffett; personally I have diversified and the yearly income goes into my estate that pays me a monthly allowance that covers all my expenses, along with money to enjoy life, cover emergencies and the excess goes back into investing [existing or new opportunities]. As for #1 I started in my 30's for when I was young I had to learn by trial and error, like going into the wilderness. It took me 20 years to reach financial freedom. I wish Alux existed 30 years ago. Finally research, read, research and read - don't just read with what you agree with but read other opinions; pick and chose your sources; read, read, read - but be careful. There is no SECRET - you just need to be informed and constantly learning and planning, and adjust your course as needed.

We are basically limitless to what we are capable of doing. a lot of times we just limit ourselves to what we can do like to developed ourselves and to aspire for more or to basically having a simple goal daily and know what to prioritize. That determination is also a big factor. Listen to good advise but to not copy, get the idea and create your own way. There are lots of ways to increase income if we only open our minds
