I Photoshop stuff as a hobby so I'm not always up to date on this stuff, but every time I stumble across a new feature I just sit in awe at how well this program is made and what it can do.

Some of the stuff that can be done is pretty crazy.

This is Fantastic information. However, as a perspective drawing nerd I can say with no reservation that you need to learn your basics about Horizon Lines and Vanishing Points even when the software is helping you out. The grid you made for the harbor is WAY off, and it would be easy for you to tell that if you understood basic perspective drawing. Software can't replace the foundations of art. That said, this is still great stuff. Thanks for putting it out there.
@tutvid7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Pat. I'm definitely not a pro when it comes to perspective. I know a little, but that last time I took a perspective class was in high school and it's not really something I use a lot. I think you're right about what you said! Thanks! 🍻

You can also just learn about basic vanishing points with a pencil and paper, then apply it to Photoshop. Vanishing points are everything when you want to render perfect perspective. You have two point vanishing point and beyond. Start with two point vanishing points and learn to draw a panorama view of a city with tall buildings. It crosses over to Photoshop. Google "vanishing points"

Hey man love this tutorial! I have been wanting to learn this. I had a question and maybe you could help me out? When i save this as a .vfe and import it into after effects, it looks pixelated, do you know why its like that?
@tutvid8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man! For the pixelation, is the file big enough to fit the after effects file without being stretched? is the aspect ratio of the .vfe the same as the aspect ratio of the after effects file? also, it could be the preview engine in after effects. Try rendering out a small portion of the project and it may clear right up. Hope that helps!

I have a problem with the image I intend to insert. I cannot do anything with it (like overlay etc.), because no separate layer for that image is produced, that way I cannot put any effect on it. How can I fix that?

You want to create a new layer first and then go into Vanishing Point on the new layer.
