Hot tip… I like to spray my fav perfume once or twice into my Necessaire lotion before I apply it. Especially if it’s a perfume that doesn’t last as long as I’d like. Since the lotion is unscented, it’s an easy way to make your scent last longer!

I live in a hot and humid part of Australia, so it gets STICKY. Summer is all about linen and natural fibre dresses with basically no shape 😂 just breezy. Plus sunscreens for skincare, cause the sun is truly the enemy. Finally: prescription sunglasses. I need glasses all the time - giant prescription sunnies that protect from glare truly change the game.

I'm having lung issues, so i can't bike right now. But i really miss my long rides down PCH in Malibu or through Pasadena. It's been the best thing I picked up during covid. I'm going to go check out that belt bag. I like them for travel a lot and seems like a fun summer everyday bag.

What I’ve done for 10 years with Converse is buying them one size big and buying really nice inserts for them to make them comfier. I wear them every day until they literally fall apart and then get a new pair. They were my comfiest shoes when I was a waitress working doubles. I only get classic high tops!

My makeup ""essentials"" are colorful eyeshadow/liners and highlighters. The colourpop palletes like the coast to coral and the candy castle are vvv nice for a one shadow look and the elf highlighter pallete with the glitter and the the creme shop halo lovely omega highlighter palete are also nice. Wish I had more blushes tho (I really wanna try the rare beauty liquid blushes)

I just received the sandalwood body exfoliate and I love it!! I have also used the body serum in the past. Didn’t love it until I started adding a pump to each pump of my body moisturizer and using the mixed together (rather than layered) and I loved that as well! Excited to check out more necessaries products. Wish they had aha/bha and retinol in the serum

That drip with the exfoliate gel! 💦 KP is so annoying, especially in summer! 😵‍💫 I use an ice roller whenever I have a migraine. It helps a lot! Summer essential for me: jeans cutoff shorts and loose/colourful blouses. Love them! Also: for the scalp, I highly recommend the Brigeo Scalp Revival Charcoal and Cononut Oil Micro-exfoliating Shampoo! It feels so good and it really feels like it's getting in there and exfoliating your hair!

I’m always looking for scalp care items.. My son is going to be 16 this month and unfortunately dealing with Alopecia Areata.. 😭 He has always had such thick gorgeous hair! About a year and a half ago he started shedding hair like CRAZY! Then was losing circular patches at a time all over over his scrap.. Some areas grow back but there are other areas haven’t grown back at all.. Luckly he has grown out his hair some and we can cover up spots but it is such a struggle! My heart BREAKS for him because I know he is so self conscious over it.. We have gone to the dermatologist and have tried so many treatments! This week he finally decided to go ahead and try the scalp injections.. 😭 They are also putting in a referral for him to go to some AA specialist at Duke.. In the mean time I want to make sure his scalp is in the healthiest condition and his hair as well.. Praying something will help! I would do anything if I could take it from him and deal with it instead of him.. 😭 Any other suggestions anyone has I would appreciate it!!💕💕🙏🙏 Sorry! Didn’t mean to get carried away! Haha.. I’m just always looking for help! 🥰❤️🙏 I definitely want to try out the Necessaire Products! I want to invest in some better body products! ❤️❤️

Hi! I have alopecia areata too, and know a coworker with a son with alopecia generalis. Obviously every case is different, but what worked for me was intralesional corticosteroid injection combined with oral antivirus (valacyclovir) for a while. Without antivirus, my hair would grow but immediately fall out, but my hair actually stayed after the antivirus. My doctor was an academic who's pretty up to date with research, and she said that the autoimmune response might be triggered by virus infection which showed up with my bloodwork and it worked well for me. I also tried PRP (platelet rich plasma) injection once, I think it was promising but I only did it once because it was more expensive and I got pregnant so I didn't bother to continue the treatment. At my worst I lost about 3/4 of my hair, now I only have small patches that are easily covered. I hope you can find a treatment that worked, and I hope your son can find his confidence whatever happens. I see through my coworker how it affects a mother, so hugs to you too.

As you know being a Mother you don’t ever want your child to go through anything! No matter how big or small.. I always think.. It could be so much worse! I think it’s just even harder when it’s something I try so hard ti fix but I can’t.. This is such a rough age too! Just finishing Sophomore Year.. Already going through so much at that age.. This doesn’t help.. He is going for the Steroid injections this week.. I will ask about the oral antivirus! Is there any side affects to it? So you lost 3/4 of your hair and all came back except for a few spots? Are you still doing treatment or are you in a good place right now? I’m not sure what Alopecia Generalis is? Is that from stress? We thought it was stress with him at first because it happened during lock down and he had so much stress with learning from home.. He is a A student and will put so much pressure on himself.. Which is hard for a parent too because you try to explain to them not to stress out.. Easier said then done!! Plus, not able to hang out with friends, couldn’t play basketball at the rec center which they did nightly, etc.. Also he had mild hypothyroidism which we thought could have been it but that’s been corrected.. We have a lot of autoimmune issues on my side of the family and he definitely fits the diagnosis of Alopecia Areata.. I pray they come out with a cure for all! I know they have a lot of trials but he’s too young.. Hopefully something will be approved soon that will help! Prayers again to you! @@tracie3 Alopecia generalis is basically the same thing but more widespread instead of in areas, he lost most or all of his hair and his eyebrows I think. I don't know what happen to him though, I don't keep up anymore. I don't feel like there's any side effects from the antivirus but maybe ask to your doctor, I was on it a few months. I live in the tropics for all my life and had small bald patches since I was a kid, but it got REALLY bad during the year I was in the UK for postgrad. So my guess what triggered me was stress and lack of sun (I forgot to mention my doctor also put me on vit D as I got vit D deficiency, she said it's important for immune response). Yes most if not all of my hair grew back, than a couple of years later I got covid and maybe that triggered something and my hair started falling out again so I was back on the treatment, most of it grew back. That was not long ago. I'm pretty sure if I continued my treatment the rest would grow back, but pregnancy has not been treating me kindly so I just can't be bothered to go to my derm doctor again.
