top three absolute must-have survival gear and gadgets in a life-threatening situation...... 1) an extremely rugged (IP-67 + Faraday housing) tablet or laptop with a removable battery pack (with a solar or wind recharging system that actually works in real life) that you can save KZbin training videos (survival guides) and entertainment, (movies and music) or books, (Audio or e-book format) of your choice onto either the HD or an SD card - or that you can read from an external hard drive that is easily connected to the device with plug-n-play, that can be watched without the internet. 2) a "combination" shoulder harness with a chest/back and hip belt system of secure latch points, but with easily modular units to quickly adapt to various scenarios. (Molle is actually not a very easy system to reconfigure quickly.) We should have multiple specialized pouches that easily snap on if we want to go hiking and hunting/camping/bushcrafting for an extended period of time, or if we need to evacuate quickly with all of our gear (the shoulder harness helps to keep the belt from sagging with the extra weight) but the same system can quickly be reduced to a simple set-up to hold enough contents (pouches and cases) for a leisurely hike for a few hours. 3) the ultimate " Rambo®" type knife AND sheath. The contents that are housed in a "hollow handle" survival knife (which is actually useless) should realistically be housed in a super-sheath so that the knife can be designed to survive (steel blade, full-tang, strong blade retention yet not too difficult to sharpen, rust resistant - yet sharp enough to prepare wood for a fire or cut vegetables for a meal...) and be effective for real emergency usage. The ABSOLUTE PERFECT sheath would house two knives - One thick enough to baton and split wood or feather it into kindling - then strike a ferro rod without any worries, and the other thin enough to skin meat or filet a fish. If you @ "Survival Gear" can find those (or share this with someone who can make them - hopefully one of your audience is skilled enough to create one of these and I would be glad to help them) then please make a video about how to get them. :-)
