Alux.com Most disturbing fact is lack of education and environmental damage. Though I am not from USA, i think that in today's globalized economy if one country starts declining it would push the rest of global economy too. History I think it's best of we let go things of past. War in Afghanistan, I would say all countries follow foreign policy which is in their best interests, and after all its a dog eat dog world

Exotic Bikes and Girls No it wasn't. The video is grossly inaccurate. It lays the plight of the Native American on the United States. The numbers are speculations galore. The numbers represent the populus of 2 continents. The main culprit was disease from European settlers. The wars during the 15th -19th century also took their toll. The colonial powers Britain, France, The Netherlands and Spain didn't get any responsibility. Why? They all had policies that were extraordinarily hard on the Natives. This was a political hit piece disguised as an objective report, but there was little mitigation provided. I went through the video carefully 4 times. It's full of too many strained statements, and simply not fair, not true, not worthwhile.

The United States wasn't solely responsible for the Native American. You said, your video was fact driven. Flaw 1. The numbers you quoted are estimates, I'll say it again, estimates. The academics don't actually know the real numbers. They are guessing. Unless there were actual hard census taking of Native Americans starting in the 15th century until there was a United States. Flaw 2. Spain came to the New World first and did what it pleased from 1492 to until 1898. The British, French, Dutch, and Spaniards all placed claims on the lands known as the Americas. These same Nations were responsible for introducing, perpetuating, spreading both slavery and diseases that were disastrous to both Natives and Africans, yet you failed to acknowledge that. Flaw 3.Antibiotics and Vaccines did not appear until the 20th century after the Great Influenza of 1918. Medical attempts to deal with disease didn't even begin until the late 18th century and were more likely to kill the patient than the disease itself. Americans didn't bring those diseases mentioned. European settlers did. Your claims are grossly disingenuous at best. The actual most severe genocide was a tie between European World Colonialism, 1400 Years of Islamic Jihad, and The Communists, all of which essentially tied at over 100 million each. Human trafficking and slavery still exist in some form around the globe, but you stopped at the African Slave Trade which ended completely in the US (1865) three decades after Britain despite European colonies still doing it years after it was stopped in parts of continental Europe and America! Slavery was practiced or legal in much of Africa and Asia for the succeeding century and a half after the USA banned it. Mauritania was the last country on earth to criminalize slavery, in 2007. Flaw 4. You claim that war is profitable, so profitable that America "loves" war. The Europeans have that one beat by a landslide, since the Greek City States and the Founding of Rome. That's 3500 years of War from Bloody Marathon to Kosovo. If you asked your American viewers of their feelings on War, you would likely get a far different opinion of it. If war were the money maker that your fact driven academicians claim, why has the National debt of The US risen to 20 trillion dollars, since 2001? War is an exhaustive thing in this day and age. You're arguments are rubbish. Fact 5. You enumerated things like educational stats that "prove" The US isn't the greatest. Firstly greatest doesn't necessarily mean best or superior. It's our accomplishments, positive achiements, and potential that many see when they make the claim. As for the numbers, America is being measured on things it can never fix, because of the massive constant immigration that maintains a perpetual cycle of working to elevate the poor. Help one person and 10 take their place. Hundred of thousands arrive in the US annually and aren't up to the International Standards. Standards, which are questionable at best, considering China has1.3 billion people, of which 1.1 billion people who are barely literate and terribly impoverished. Somehow parts of China surpass The US in Math, but 95% have never been to school as we know it, and with the Migrant Crisis, European numbers would slip dramatically, if their new arrivals were factored in, since many have had no formal education in their lives either. Flaw 6. You said these were not opinions, yet the video is rife with opinions, speculation, and conjecture. This essentially makes it unreliable, and sound more like a fashionable hit piece than illuminating observations. Flaw 7. American incarceration is because, of actual law enforcement. Europe will only put persons convicted of crimes like murder in prison for a paltry 10 years and it's a known fact that many crimes by migrants go unpunished, for fear of European prisons swelling with foreigners, and Europe being branded racist. All this while many countries engage in capital punishment arbitrarily, and unofficially. My favorite is The US poisoning people with tainted alcohol. Rubbing Alcohol isn't for human consumption, denatured Alcohol isn't for human consumption! No one was made to drink it or mislead. People are self-destructive and stupid. I too, could go on and on, but frankly your video was predictably critical while not always clarifying certain comments, or offering arbitrary explanations, and had hackneyed allegations. This was particularly ideological propaganda, in my opinion. Posting sources doesn't help when the data presented often has the same problems. You made a grand series of claims, but permitted no rebuttal, presented no authorities willing to go on camera. Very misleading. You get the down vote, not because America has problems galore, but that you got much of it wrong. This has resulted in promoting and perpetuating negative and hostile attitudes for The US while granting the rest of the world wholesale absolution. I do commend Alux for very cleverly attempting a pretense of unbiasedness. I especially liked the snide little bit at the end, about "not being number 1 anymore." That crack was supposed to deflect any objections, but it sounded more like contemptuousness.

Saying you diagree, don't like what I wrote, or that it makes you feel sad isn't a rebuttal, it a petulant whine.

Believing in God is for idiots!! I pity you. The rest of the world is so much better clearly!" As an American, I can say this. We are not perfect, we will never be perfect. We started out not being perfect. Do we try? We do. Are these facts true? Yes. But then, why do so many people immigrate to the US? Why do many countries rely on the US for aid? What makes the USA the best country in the world, is the fact you can be anything you want to be. There have been thousands, if not hundreds of thousand people who came to this country for a better life, and continue to come here. Yes, things are expensive here, like education. Because we have turned it into a business. There is competition here. Here is where only those who like a challenge survive. We like to fight. We like the tough hero. We take risks. We dream big. We enjoy food. We are reckless in and with our ambitions. We try to live life without fear. Americans contributed greatly to history, and the world within the last 100 years. In a span of about 50 years we went from dreaming of flight, to being on the moon, and traveling into space. Europe has had that dream for centuries, and had what to show for it? Novels on the fantasy of flight. There are a lot of comparisons between Europe, and the US. We tried to be more like Europeans, but found that we couldn't. We found that we have our own identity. We are not like Europe. We are both the wild card, and the dependable friend. We are brash, but friendly. We are apologetically American. I know my country has many faults, and I recognize that. But above all, what makes the US the best country in the world, to me. Is freedom.

Carlos Moreno USA is just being British of colonial era. The difference is US is not making colonies physically rather looting countries by other means. Growing Economies like China, India, Iran rely on themselves for survival and do not threaten other countries the way USA do. Also, USA threatened my own country India to go on a war with Pakistan. We gave zero fucks to their opinion. Today, USA backs India against Pakistan but once they were against us. But still they backs terrorism in Pakistan. We lose people from Indian Army which are fighting terrorism and USA is constantly providing arms and weapons to Pakistan for free. So, give me one reason that why USA doesn't like wars? I personally do not even think about US, it's just they should not provide arms to terrorist nations which are already threat to humanity. Peace.

Most people go to America because their own are even worse, but that doesn't make it great. In fact many times it is the US that contributed in part to the problems of other countries. Take for example Southamerican countries: the Operation Condor was an agreement between the CIA and people close to the goverments in those countries to stablish dictatorships with the intention to stop the spread of comunism and get resources. With support and technology given by the US thousands of people were sistematically kidnapped, tortured and killed. Althought this happened many years ago it has deeply afected the politics, economy and people of southamerican countries and it is part of the reasons they aren't as advanced as other ones and why many people leave to the US. If you want a more recent example take 2001. I still think America is a great country (though not the greatest or the best) and I myself would like to travel and visit it someday, but I would revise the history of its relationships with other countries and see both sides of the story before saying its friendly or that it represents freedom.

MrBrain Bob, it is because of Indians only that America is great right now. Indians are the most powerful international community. All powerful CEOs in the valley are of Indian origin. You just cannot compete with Indian thinking skills. Indians are also giving tough competition to NASA in space exploration. We reached Mars in just $74 Million. We have third largest standing Army in the world. We have 5th strongest Air Force as well. India has just lost 1 war and that to with China. We retaliated Chinese in 1968 when we invaded Chinese territories of "Nathu La and Cho La". We have won all wars unlike America. So, what's the point in saying yourself great? Also, if we Indians can achieve this much being a third world nation then you cannot even expect our potential. Stop being so blind. America too have poverty so as China. Learn to accept truth.

soflo23 Well that means you are either too delusional or you haven't been to countries like Norway Denmark etc. also there is a huge difference between living there and being on a vacation there. for example you cannot experience free health care free college and things like that in Denmark while being on a vacation there. Same goes for the US citizens' health insurance. can't see how bad it is unless u live or have lived there. Also Canadians not only make more money but their country is better developed in almost every aspect except the military one. I'm not trying to hate on you or your country it just annoys me when people talk when they haven't experienced living in other countries and they say that the US is the best. It is far from the best.

Bill Hollis Yes Bill. The Spanish, English and French wiped out most of the coastal tribal nations of the America's long before the United States was formed. What is over looked is that many tribal nations wiped out many other tribal nations as well. Europe was no different long ago, their were smaller tribal nations that wiped out other tribal nations until they learned to govern larger civilizations and form countries, which wiped each other out to form new countries. Every country has been formed through the conquering and control of preexisting civilizations. The difference is the United States went from underdog to top dog in much less time and they feel guilty about it. Arguably the United States was the Greatest nation a little more than thirty years ago, but the move toward globalization has incurred a great cost. It is a jump too soon. Much of this list is either untrue of a gross misrepresentation. If you think it looks bad. You should read what the rest of the worlds history is. Far worse for far longer spells. Conceptually the United States is a great nation and when we observe the size and population, living together wanting to idealize that concept, it just may be the greatest in the world. That is up to the citizens living there. No one else. ...And you don't need to be at the top in every statistic to be the best player on the team.

1400IntruderVS actually I did research on #8 it's correct. The Loving family actually went to jail for their interracial marriage and made it all the way to the supreme court before their marriage was not only recognized by the state, but for the country time say it was legal. It overwrote a law that existed nearly a 100 years prior to the hearing. I agree with the rest though.
@1400IntruderVS
@1400IntruderVS 7 жыл бұрын
SavvyOverSwag Not federal court? Nor Federal Jail? The federal laws had no marriage provisions. The case was Loving Vs. Virginia because it was against the law in Virginia, not the United States. My grandparents were married in 1927 and had no such issues in New York. Neither did thousands of others. We had already established there was racism in parts of the United States and individual states, which have the power to govern them selves with in the limits of the U.S. Constitution often have their own laws. Smaller municipals with each state also have their own additional laws. One municipal does not represent an entire country. The Supreme Court was forced to make a ruling and there fore creating a law that makes it unlawful for states to prohibit Anti-miscegenation laws with in the States. The list has a lot miss-representation.

bentley TRAN the USA has done horrible things trough its history, but like most countries on this planet, the USA it's unique and has a history that its different from many countries, the bashing from this channel it's fabricated to attack the USA in the most negative way ever, just look at where they got their sources at. The USA should be criticized and government attack none stop by us. But we should not compare our selfs with anyone we are unique. Just think about what they said, for example the Indian genocide, the British Empire, French Empire, and Portuguese empire where all doing biological warfare, but yet all they mention was what the colonist did, even though they did not revolt until the late 1700's. Also they did not mention the Californian genocide by Mexico, or mention that Canada also believed in manifest destiny. But at the end I don't care that France decapitated people until the 1980s, that Mexico massacre hundreds of natives in Chiapas in 1994, or that China its currently doing organ harvesting. I care that the USA has spend more 600 billion in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and I think you should too care and be critical about ANYTHING negatively that the USA it's doing. As for videos like this, fuck this haters lol 😂

Here's a couple things to chew on. America leads the world in charitable giving by individuals in gross. America leads the world in foreign aid. America leads the world in scientific innovation. America leads the world in innovation and economic dynamism. America leads the world in books published. America leads the world in legal immigration. America leads the world generosity. America leads the world in GDP. America leads the world in global spending on scientific research. Also, your sources aren't the greatest with the Native American Genocide. Some real terrible crap happened then and there's no denying it, but before America was even settled by Europeans, nearly a third of the Native population had died from a pandemic that had nothing to do with the Europeans. America spends so much on defense because it also provides defense for other countries. Countries like Norway are kept safe because of America's defense of them. There's a whole lot of crap that America has done, but it's sure as hell not the evil place you paint it out to be. There's a reason why it has the highest rates of immigration in the world. America has its problems, but its still a great country.

A few comments: 2. Indian genocide: they quoted the number before Columbus landed. By 1600, before the first settlement of America, the population dwindled by 90% disease, tragic but unavoidable. Also you would include the population of the entire continent but instead only the borders of America. Also it wasn’t the largest genicide in history. America did some messed up stuff but to blame all of the this on one country is just biased. All countries have conquered in the past, it’s part of everyone’s history. 3. America was the only country to end slavery after a bloody civil war. We had the most to economically gain from it and we spent close to a million lives just to finally end it. For people who think the war wasn’t about slavery I agree, but it still ended because of it. Also America only took in .2% of total slaves going into the new world Brazil took in 35% of total slaves imported. In addition the East African slaves trade lasted three times longer and imported more slaves than the western slave trade. In addition, many states with most of the combined population already banned slavery by 1800, it was only in the south that slavery continued for decades. 4. America single handedly maintains peaceful global trade and is the atlas holding up the current world order. In 20 years time this will probably no longer be the case. Europe will actually have to start paying for its own military again (which is at least partly why they were able to afford a large welfare state.) in addition America continues to receive most of the worlds immigrants, fight against global piracy, and feed most of the worlds people. 5. We have ab unfortunate prison system which can be fixed. I will mention that drug laws in America are not exactly the most draconian. Contrary to popular belief most most countries outside of the west have extremely stringent drug use laws. Our drug laws weren’t based on racism. 6. We have much more space and therefore need to drive more. Okay you can lower your standard or living to poverty to help with energy. Most countries are trying to do the same. 8. Same with a lot of other counties include some in Western Europe. 9. What’s your definition of shopping mall? Why does that matter? 11. There are other paths that are more financially savy than wasting time and money in college. 14. Actually most of the oil that comes from the MIddle East ended up going to China and Europe. 15. Yep because they weren’t going to surrender. There’s a myth going around that the emperor was about to surrender. Not true, most Japanese thought Americans would rape and kill them due to propaganda. Of America made land call it would of cost many times more lives for the Japanese. The bomb was least off two evils. Plus we funded the shit out of them after the war.

Australia and New Zealand must have been in this too as they are always working real hard to spread Anti-American propaganda in the Pacific. On one hand Australians will show themselves as real friendly people with their smiles, on the other, they will always paint a bad picture of USA while in return paint a positive picture of their own country. The only people Australia and New Zealand are able to convince are those so-called precious natives of the Pacific like Fijians since they are born stupid and still too stupid to figure anything out and do on their own. And that's where Australia and New Zealand step in and do things for them, and in return, Fijians worship those two countries and offer their loyalty. USA rescuing Australia from Japan during WWII was a total waste.

3:49 Wait but the US didn't exist back then, sure there were colones but if anything shouldn't we blame the eroupieans for the natives dying out? I mean they did settle there and it wasn't until hundreds of years later that the main group of settlers came from Italy to America so it's not like the US was being created while the native's were dying. The settlers didn't even set out to create the US, they just wanted to get away from their countries. Yeah the US mistreated the natives after the Revolutionary War but we did make sure to preserve the Native's graveyards (until trump destroyed most of them with that stupid wall) But the US isn't responsible for killing the natives with diseases, the eroupieans are.

I hate when people say fact based and then go about blaming the U.S. for the genocide of all North American natives and reference the early settlers in North America. That poses a historical inaccuracy. The early settlers were not the United States. The Unites States was not formed until several hundred years later. Natives were killed from a combinations of events, including but not limited to wars between other tribes, plagues, catastrophic weather events and drought. The Europeans did not necessarily keep medical treatments from the natives. They just didn't provide it. Bear in mind countries of Europe fashioned there own remedies in their fights against pandemics as they occurred. Native North American tribes could have done the same had they chosen to evolve from these events. The notion that foreign nation building in North America was the reason most of the native population has died should not fall on the shoulders of the United States. North America was populated by many different nations before the European settlers as well that had wiped out other nations. Some tribes controlled regions while others were nomadic. Some raided others when hunting and gathering was not enough and some were farmers. The U.S. did push many aside as it expanded westward and those whom resisted were killed. There were probably hundreds of thousands murdered to spare the resources needed to continue relocating them every time gold or silver or oil or coal was found in a particular region. Many were betrayed by deals made by there own politicians. Which cost more than will ever be measured. None of this makes it right but that is how countries are formed. Lands are conquered. Just be aware that early settlers were not the United States. The Eastern coastal tribes were wiped out mostly by British and French occupation and weapons technology was not the reason. An arrow loads and shoots faster from a bow than balls from the muzzle loaders of the time and many native tribes had their own concoctions for explosives. Military and political strategies won those battles. Civilian population was not off limits from any side because people fought from and for their civilizations. Soldiers are recruited from civilians. Another disturbing analogy is the U.S. was one of the last countries to abolish slavery. Well I guess when you say "one of" it leaves lots of extras. It is more important to note that the U.S. abolished slavery in less time than most other countries that adopted slavery. To say the U.S. took longer than most is not only disingenuous it is flat out wrong. Bear in mind the U.S. did not gain governing control of the former British colonies until around 1783. Slavery was nationally abolished by 1865. So in less than 100 years the U.S. abolished slavery. For many other countries it took thousands of years. There are a handful of countries that still permit slavery with in their cultures to date. When we talk about energy consumption and food consumption. We need to understand who is producing and what is being consumed. Other wise there is really very little relevance. Four Earth sized planets to sustain the food consumption of the U.S., for how long? This equation means absolutely nothing... Of course the U.S. has more incarcerations. They have more law enforcement and investigative resources than most countries and perhaps more criminals, partly because there are actually more civil laws. With each state having their own definitions for misconduct. Number 8 is just wrong. Perhaps there were states that did not allow interracial marriages but the U.S. had no restrictions based on race. Who writes this stuff? No wonder the people in the U.S. are so divided. They no nothing of their own history. Most do not realize Black men were actually permitted to vote in elections by 1870 under the 15th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution as well. Unfortunately some States and municipals argued States rights for a long time and got away oppressing would be black voters with it as politicians were afraid of abandoning their constituencies. The U.S. loves war. Not much of a secret...

Nighar Hadur Where did he mention white people in his comment? Saying he’s a target makes you assume he’s blaming white people? Your comment may be well-intentioned but it’s best paternalistic, at worse dumb.

When you said America wasn't number one and you followed up with those statistics, you were use false or elogic satistics to justify your statement, and that takes away from your credibility. USA is one of the only country that try's to actually educate everybody. USA still has a better Healthcare system than most other countries, keep in mind the sizes and diversity they have to overcome. Some of the other fact you used in this vedeo were still misleading, but I do understand that USA does have there fair share of problems.

U.S.A. is what the Roman Empire was back in the day and as the Roman Empire, it will fall. At least the United Kingdom figured out how to do worse without letting people figure out anything. The U.S.A. has a lot to learn, but I feel it's too late.

100% with you on that i respect how America spends a great deal on their military. Although I'm not American i have Americans in my family. I have the great missforchtion of being UK ( only had one British grandfather none of the rest originated from UK ) All the UK dose is cut backs curruphtion and a lot of crazy terrorists going around murdering civilians especially in London UK is shit and always hiding the problems of UK it would be great to see a video on how f🤬cked up UK is ( it would have to be a much longer video on the UK )

I think you aren’t totally accurate. It’s not like Europeans tried to kill natives with smallpox(which was the #1 killer) we were immune and they weren’t. Also there were mutual wars. Not just genocidal killings. Also we’ve had been the biggest polluter because we were the first in the history of the world to have such big industry, and many of our factories/plants/etc. are older than the rest of the worlds. There are more things I feel that I could correct. I feel like you just get influenced by your globalist friends who say down with the USA. It’s alright though. They always hate the best.

@@vman6422 Infections spread, one blanket infects one person, and that one person infects 50. Also, most of the diseases that killed off the majority of the population were brought over by the settlers and the first nation population did not have immune systems adapted to deal with it, and while medication and treatment existed, people deemed as subhuman had no access to it. And that's just germs, what about all the burnt villages, kidnapped children, murdered men and women, the residential schools that systematically erased all first nation culture? I guess its only a genocide if the U.S. can be heros.

PS/2 To Aulux.com. Unlike all your other postings which have watched, and greatly admired, 15 THINGS AMERICANS DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE USA is not in your usual high standard of presenting both sides and being fair. This posting is completely one-sided. Consider how lucky it is that you are in the USA and can post comments of this gravity with no fear. This itself is one of the great things about this nation.
