Napoleon hill is the true definition of: make it, lose it, get it back , make it lose it, get it back. This man owed lots of people, dodged death and stilled managed to get rich again. He truly figured out how to keep making money 💰 some way some how, live good for a while, lose it all and you bounce back again and again. 🤫🤫

The clue is that Hill never met those famous people. It was only one of his selling tricks to promote the book as result of a scientifique resaerch - all the quotes were invented by him. However Hills ideas are generally true and important - the book can be an enormeous help to find and pursue your goal. But the story of the 500 selfmade-milioners is an invention by Hill.

All good besides one fact: Hill was given a deadline of only one more night by bis publisher to get a good title for his book, otherwise the Publisher would name it "use your noodle.." In that night hill got the Inspiration and the Million-dollar-title "Think and grow rich" There are speeches on youtube where HILL explicitly tells the story of that important Night in his Life.

My favorite Napoleon Hill books: 4: Outwhiting The Devil 3: How to Raise you're own salary 2:Think and Grow Rich 1: The Law of Success You should read them in this order: 1. Think and Grow Rich 2. How to Raise your own salary 3. The Law of Success 4. Outwhiting the devil I personally don't care if any of the rumors about him are true. The simple fact that so many people recommend his books as having a huge impact on their success is enough for me.

6:33 Well if you listen to his live lectures he wanted to get a “million dollar title” but he struggled to come up with the right name….so the publisher grew impatient and said the “use your noodle” title will be used IF he doesn’t deliver the title the following day….he turned to the principle of the subconscious and woke up at around 2/3am with the title Think and Grow Rich….he wrote it down and immediately called the publisher to let him know the title…mind blowing haha

Just because this guy got rich scamming people doesn't make it acceptable that he scammed people. Hill was rich, but I'd argue he wasn't successful as a person, considering how he got ahead in life. People who defend Napoleon Hill are the same people that defend organized crimelords and Wall Street bailouts; those who put the rich, whether maker or taker, on a pedestal. Hill was a taker, not a maker.

I‘ve read Think & Grow Rich - it‘s nice - I defenitely got something out of it … BUT … Get some info about Napoleon Hill! Many things don‘t seem to add up! His biographers painted a nice picture of him but even they had doubts about some of the claims.. Hill was caught in fraudulent activities more than once. And his time with Andrew Carnegie might as well have been more of a nice story. Why? Since the memoires and other writings from Andrew Carnegie don‘t really paint the same picture that Think & Grow Rich is trying to. Just stay critical! :)

I needed to hear this. Within my years of becoming a skeptic to everything, I had to question whether or not I’ll read the book that I’ve been wanting to read of his (Outwitting the Devil). I say that because I dug a little deep as to who Napoleon really was, and again, it made me question if I should actually read it or not. But I’m strongly leading towards a “separate the article from the Artist” kind of scenario! What do you think ? Is it a good idea to go in with reading it and just getting the gold nuggets from it without acknowledging his fraudulent life?
