Just tried the Aberdeen Pig Farm trick. Amazing!! So for those who don't know, go to Aberdeen Pig Farm in chapter 6 before doing either "The Last Son" or "Red Dead Redemption" missions. Let the brother and sister rob you. After you start epilogue go back to Aberdeen Pig Farm. Theirs a picture hanging on the wall. Behind that picture is Arthur's money!! Highly Recommend it!!

You can put a scope on several different weapons, not just the repeater. The bolt action rifle, is still the best imo.

The Lancaster Repeater is the best rifle. The Bolt Action fires too slowly and has a small Magazine. As far as heavy hitters go , i think the Carcano was better than the Bolt action. My long gun trick out was usually the Lancaster and the Auto Loader shottie. Sometimes I took the Rolling block for really far shots.

If you come across a guy who's been bitten by a snake, make sure you heal him then go to the gunsmiths in Valentine. He'll repay you by buying you whatever gun you want. I purchased the most expensive rifle I could which meant I could then afford the improvements for the weapon, like adding a scope, and I would not have been able to afford it without this reward.

There’s another way to skip the skinning animation, what I do is I put my horse on top of the dead animal and then skin it and it only shows the cutting that’s it. Good vid btw 👍

Anyone know that if theres a item you want to pick up but the prompt to pick it up only happens for literally a few milliseconds then you can just hold the pick up button before you see the prompt which is square on ps4 and as soon as the prompt comes up it will stay up as long as your still holding square until it finishes the prompt of picking up the item even if normally the prompt would have hella disappeared it won't if your already holding the button.

It also doesn't change having to mash x/a on horseback. so to me it's like having to learn two different mechanics depending on the situation (vs. just always using one mechanic to go faster...) seems dumb to me... Also his video captures when he was talking abut settings were terrible and confusing as he was just changing and unchanging different settings - took me like 20 seconds to realize he wasn't even talking about what was on screen at one point. Annoying.

Lord have mercy. Does anyone have patience anymore? Rockstar designed this game to be played at a slow/believable pace and all I ever see is people talking about how to save time by changing this or that setting, glitching this, etc. I’m the type who plays ultra realistic anyway. For example I WALK everywhere unless I need to run from something, I don’t use cheap tricks and in fact I’m annoyed that Dead Eye still auto reloads the weapons. Rockstar put 8 years of hard work into this game so respect it and quit trying to turn it into a FPS.

Maybe this is something new they have created but there's a time zone difference between areas. So you arrive in horshoe as the base. If you go to the hotel in Valentine and spend the night for whatever many hours, as long as you still get up in the morning, it's the same amount of hours but a different time zone. When I wake in camp it's always 6:11. When I go to the hotel it's 6:01. It has changed elsewhere as well. I love details like this but would prefer to see all that energy going toward some pretty hefty needed changes like killing a perfect Elk with 2 head shots then skinning it for a poor. It seems to be a bug that's coming and going.

from what i find, having high sensitivity is unusable, im doing free aim only and when having a shoot out on horse back with high sensitivity and having to constantly cog gun, to many shots are missed especially considering clip count and reloading, missing shots costs alot more problems than any other rockstar game. having dead zone actually helps, plus having lower sens, makes head shots viable

I play the game in first person view only, except when im on my horse. The game is so much better and a million times more immersive in first person view! 2 things. It DOES say that wraps will make weapons degrade slower. Also. You cannot go from scope to iron sights. You merely go from the scope to a 'hard sight' w zoom. You didnt mention the fact that any gun without a scope can switch from iron sights to hard sight either. So 3 things ig.
