Thank you so much for uploading this, it’s criminally under-viewed. I remember (and still have, on VHS) this Elephant and the US Columbine film called Elephant both on on one night on Channel 4. Never thought I’d ever see any of this again. Thanks again Edit: to ask if anyone has a disguised link for the other Elephant?

Ian Nelson You’re now about the tenth person to tell me how good The Joker is, I really REALLY must watch it. I’ve been told it’s a really bleak film, one you think about for days afterwards. So thank you for that recommendation

One thing to read about people being shot in the paper. Quite another to see someone’s brains blown out in front of you. Although this is acted, it’s harrowing.

I grew up through it. Every single night I went to bed scared stiff. Still so many people unaccounted for. I’m talking many hundreds

It’s harrowing because that’s how Northern Ireland was back then. We had a massive Bobby Sands mural painted on the house at the end of our street. Scary times. The one thing the war criminal Tony Blair did right, was help sort out the Good Friday Agreement, even though the IRA got their wish of murderers being released, some of them only a couple of years into life sentences. Great comment by the way. 👍🏻

Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico: in twenty years?
@johnsonlane45714 жыл бұрын
it ain't them immigrants that are of concern, the poor south of Texas have been coming in all along, and most just want what we want - a decent existence where at least there's a chance of getting ahead maybe. The danger lies to the far East, the juggernaut called Red China is planning to own the world and they are seriously seriously over populated at home

I don't get why this is a comedy at all? Except for the scene in the resteraunt which I concede is hilarious, I see very little that's funny about this film whatsoever.
@revsin18868 жыл бұрын
It is not a comedy, the film is based around real murders carried out in Northern Ireland during the troubles, it has no dialogue and at the time of its release it was pretty shocking and if trurh be told it still is...

@Ian Nelson a Tarantino film? You're joking right? Tarantino absolutely REVELS in the cartoon violence of his films. This is just pure bleakness. The only thing "movie" like about it, is the speed with which people die.
