Oddly enough last year we had a rescue of our own. My wife was playing games and heard a kitten outside on a cold night. A 4 week old all black kitten was hiding in my neighbor's car fender scared and dirty. We lured him out and got him inside. He's now about 9 months old, healthy, energetic, and impossible to see in the dark. We named him Gremlin.

I used to ride the bus some years ago. and I would see this little stray cat, I would try to pet it cause I love cats and all. But I could not even get close to it at all, till I saw the little kitten more and more, at first it would not let me get close to touch it. then a couple weeks later I could let it sniff my finger, and then after a couple more it would rub on my hand and let me pet it and the kitten loved it. I talked to the owner of the house nearby and she said that the kitten was a stray and she was feeding it when she could. Well fast forward a few more weeks and the kitten followed me home. I did admittedly walk a bit slow and take many breaks to just let her get some loving in, but she followed me about 10 city blocks home, now years and years later she is a wonderful little ball of majestic derpy fluff

My parents should have done this. Before they had kids,so almost 40 yrs ago they clipped an eagle at 100km/hr luckily it was still aliv. They picked it up and put it on the back-seat to take to a vet. It woke up about 20mins later. It was not happy at all.

@@GloOMrr I don't agree with religion at all, I think it's stupid. Oh there's a giant God watching me from the sky, wonder why he/she/they haven't ever shown themselves. And I do respect people with religions, I wasn't even intending to be rude, I just pointed out something I think is true, because it's what I've been taught all my life. And I've literally lived in heavily Christian/Mormon areas, all my life, I'm literally in Utah. I get to say shit about them, especially when I've had shit experiences with them. Now, I know they're not all the same, I've met some pretty nice ACTUAL Christians too, but the bad outweighs that. But again, I'm in Utah. Plus, Christianity is one of the most hated religions because Christians fucked shit up in the past, ruined a lot of things, and have stolen from other religions. Also, the Bible, is literally a book of God's wishes, it isn't anything BUT religious.

I love them! I really love these wonderful animal rescue stories! They are very inspiring and uplifting. They do restore some faith in the Human family. I loved watching these recuses....The pregnant cat, jumping from a balcony with total faith in the humans belowe! The poor cow, stuck in the mud....just to name a couple. Cows are the most gentle and docile creatures that God ever created. A very good point was made, too. Why hasn't anyone come up with the idea of covering these manholes with a net or something?
