On using Arenas to improve your aiming and gameplay, I can attest to that personally. I hadn't played a whole lot before Arenas came out, but I started playing that daily, for usually 1-2 hours a day, and it massively improved my overall gameplay. I went from not being able to hit any shots at all to being able to hit at least 50-60 percent of my shots in just a few months. When I finally came back to BR, it was like I was a completely different player.

It’s crazy how basic these tips are and how effective they are at the same time, it’s crazy how good they work when applied consistently over time. Love your content bro! If I had to rate the number one tip out of these tips though I would say that not following other people‘s settings is the number one and playing pub matches and changing sensitivity during the game till it fits your perfect style was the best way for me to figure out my settings.

I recommend going solo duo or solo trio it will hell you train yourself better and you will find yourself relying on your teammates less, you will learn to fight better also! Great tips scrappy!
@mikaslashCOD2 жыл бұрын
Amazing content ! 1:18 About FOV, i was never a fan of high FOV like 110 because it zooms out and make further away target even smaller to hit until i realise how BROKEN it is at close range in thoses close quarter combat situation. I was playing on 92 FOV before for the longest time and everytime someone was rubbing themselves against me in very tight corners i couldn't get a shot on while i was getting demolished because i could barely see them moving around me. But with 110 FOV i can see EVERYTHING. The moves that were before impossible for me to track i can now clearly see them. Because 110 FOV it zooms out so far it allows you to see much wider not only further but at very close range too, which make thoses very intimate peacekeeper fights way more manageable. The best exemple is in 2:46 That Wattson that pushes you, you can see how she tries to leaves your screen by going hard on your left, but because on the 110 FOV we are able to see her all the way ! That right there was a game changer for me. I am never going back to 92 again, not after how much more efficient i became at close quarter fights.
@truellyslothful74052 жыл бұрын
I'd say switch the #13 tip with just play no fill trios. Without teammates you'll naturally become more aware of things around you, what to do and what will get you killed. Also your decision making changes so much without teammates. Biggest drawback of this tip is that ppl dont get that ur supposed to be fighting. Your not supposed to rat, charge rifle from 700m away or only third party but actually get into engagements. Reason for the switch is that playing, using the info from audio cues, is also part of your game sense. Eg. being that if you hear shots to ur right and footsteps in the building in front, you know that ur right and in front of you are no go zones if you need to run away or to know to push if you hear a rez of a shield being popped.

Why trios and not duos??
@truellyslothful74052 жыл бұрын
@@mycelia_ow cuz trios better prepares you for ranked and normal play. It feels a lot more oppressive than duos. In duos, after a beam its just a 1v1 whereas in trios its a 2v1 while the other heals. Its a lot harder to get 1v1 in trios so it really teaches how to disassemble a team.

One tip I learned is to dump the ENTIRE MAG. It took me a while to break this habit because I was listening to the sound of the weapon and assuming I was low on ammo so I would think I had to reload when I still had about 4 or 5 rounds left. Not sure why, but it was a tough one to break but those extra rounds can make the difference.
@jaden5772 жыл бұрын
That tip is kinda situational though, because if you don’t empty the mag, you get a faster reload animation, meaning you’re ready for the next person rolling up on you sooner.

All great tips. I will say that on the topic of tv vs monitor, a monitor is better in every way except comfortability. So because of that most console players would rather play on the couch as opposed to sitting in front of a monitor. Monitor is clearly superior if only for the fact that your eyes are doing less work, but most people would rather sit on the couch and be comfortable while playing and that’s fine also. But obviously this is for the people who are trying to maximize their improvements.

ALC is fine but you need to approach it in the right way. Start by completely understanding what each option is and how it adjusts your aim. Then adjust the settings to the default apex sensitivity u played on before as a basis. Then start slowly changing them a little bit at a time. Giving yourself a few hours to adjust and get used to it. Overtime you’ll dial it in and fine a setting that feels just right and is better than your old default. The biggest thing to understand is that ALC is a process, not a toggle that’ll make u immediately better.

Also go buy a fusion wired controller from GameStop or Walmart if you can’t save for a modded controller/elite the basic is 30 and the better is 45 there are two buttons on the back I currently have my left set to slide and my right button to jump. Also it’s kinda weird but since I have auto run on, I reminded my Y/ holster switch weapons to my left analog so I can holster run faster and switch my weapons while moving I did this yesterday and I can tell a world of difference from when I had to take my right thumb off of the analog I only do that to reload now. Hope this helps as well I kinda wrote a paragraph 😅

These are absolutely the best tips for newer players. Simple and on point. I feel like so many of other content creators give tips to more experienced audience. I specially find it cringy when some say "if you want to play like a pro, you MUST do xyz" "use this setting" etc. It took me 3 month to find my personal settings and consistently play with them. 1) people dont understand ALC bc they’re lazy and dont wanna learn it. “District” has a great video breaking down ever ALC setting. 2) around 3:39 you say firing range sucks but that is also misleading. I can set the bots to strafe and it does help a lot. There can always be more efficient ways, but the firing range is great if you know how to use it.
