I've trained my aim in several different games over the decades of me playing video games. I've also played a lot of different sports. When you practice, you goal should definitely be precision and accuracy over speed. The only time speed should be a focus in practice is if you are doing a specific drill or exercise to train speed. When you practice aiming, especially in the beginning, you want to focus on hitting the target every time by focusing on your actual aiming mechanics to develop muscle memory. Then you gradually increase your aiming speed as you get better. Getting faster is something that should be deliberate and definitely focused on at certain points, but it's also something that will happen naturally as you practice. It's like learning how to shoot a basketball. You start slow and perfect your form, even practicing without a ball sometimes. Every shooting coach I've come across always emphasized making sure you make your shots while shooting the same way every time in order to develop muscle memory, then gradually increase the speed of your release and the distance you shoot from. Game speed comes out in drills meant to replicate in-game scenarios, full contact scrimmages(where things are still slightly toned down), and of course for the real deal. Practice is more often about doing it correctly, not doing it fast, unless you are specifically practicing doing it fast.

FFA is great for Aiming. Quickplay is a good warmup to see how players sort of play. THunt was a terrible warmup for me because the Bots were either super bad, didnt act like Humans or they had Aimhacks and Walls on. The new training mode is better because the Bots actually sort of play like Players. They will Spawn Peek or Runout. FOV is at 75 or so for me. I find if you go higher the players are smaller and it just messes with my head.

Everytime I am head level with my gun they just go prone and swing me that way and I swear my brain refuses to let me aim at head level because of that

Personally, I play on console so I push the joystick in the other direction so it balances the direction the gun is shooting in. PC you can do the same with a mouse

a lower fov does not make it easier to hit a target. a lower sensitivity does make it easier, the lower fov only makes it easier to see. the angle per second you can rotate your camera is independent from your fov, so the fov has no effect on pure aiming ability. but still a very good video. although i have to say that playing with a mouse on console is cheating.
