Really enjoying this channel. Recently started watching. I buy Weetabix in bulk at a wholesale. A box is only 900/. I buy spaghetti in bulk a well. A box is only 700/. And lastly I buy cooking oil in 10 litres which lasts slightly over two months . The spagz last for close to three months. These are things I never have to think about for about three months ooh include tissue,I buy a bale which is around 800/ which lasts for 2.5 months. For eggs and chicken, we are planning to rear ours this month hahahahaha too expensive to buy. I also have a kitchen garden, we stopped buying spinach and dhania. Planning to expand it. I make our yoghurt but I plan to watch your video to get more tips. I am yet to make out soap but it's part of my plan for this year . High five to saving coins. Thanks for your cool videos!

Great content Suzy! Sometimes I buy just the chicken leg because it is more affordable and I also chop it in half when making curry chicken (Jamaican style of doing this). I like buying the whole chicken also because after baking it I often take it apart and remove the meat and wings and save that for meals. The rest of the bones (I leave a little meat on) I make a pot of chicken soup w/ veggies out of it. I’m Jamaican and I live in the US.

Hey Suzy! Thank you so much for these amazing money-saving tips & introducing me to Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps, heard of Dave before but not these steps. I'm also trying to be 100% debt free this year, so an extra 5k would go towards paying off debt. I recently discovered Zimele Money Market Fund & Pension (on avg 10% interest with easy access to the money) so I'm sending as much as I can there monthly. As I'm outside Nbi, Local Wholesale Shops, Naivas, & Carre Four via Jumia are my go-tos for general shopping & chicken/fish. The prices are not bad (250-270/= for 3-4 pieces chicken) & they portion the breasts/legs/thighs well, allowing me to plan my meals without wastage. We're lucky upcountry we get things like meat and eggs directly from farmers; eggs average @280-300/= per tray, beef @250-300/= per kilo. Maybe try reaching out to farmers on the outskirts of Nbi? I also buy whole chicken from Naivas for roasting only; the leftovers I use for sandwiches & the carcass I make chicken stock or a soup base and freeze. Thanks for the meal plan too, very detailed! Loving the content keep bringing more!
