I love the way the candy is done so artistically. The candy we have in the USA is just for eating. Even our marshmallow Peeps at Easter only have little dots of chocolate for eyes and really nothing else. A long time ago, I bought a little purse at the Sanrio store. It was full of little marshmallow pillows w/ chocolate in them. They were so good. Since they were individually wrapped, they lasted a long time. That was my first, ever, Japanese candy.

The image of marshmallows in the USA is very big! Very sweet and fluffy! That's the image ☺️ Sanrio marshmallows are very delicious! They are quite popular in Japan. Personally, I think Sanrio marshmallows are my favorite marshmallows ✨

In America , the popcorn was called Jiffypop. It was all the rage in 70s and 80s. Hard to find now with all the microwave popcorn

Thanks for reminding me how delicious Umaibo snacks are! 😮 A friend gifted me a Japanese snack box for my birthday in April and it had all sorts of amazing things. But the corn potage Umaibo blew me away! I wish we could find it regularly here in stores! I’m in Canada btw - we do have great snacks but the Japanese snack options have always been a favorite! ❤

Yan yan was my favorite as a kid! I would always get the strawberry flavor. Coffee Beat and Apollo are two of my favorites as well. One time I used them to decorate a strawberry cake i made for my birthday. Japanese chocolate is very tasty! I like it more than US chocolate. We also have popcorn like that here in the US! The most well known is called Jiffy Pop, and they're very popular for camping. The top are made of foil instead of plastic, and it gets really big when cooked. Your wife is very good at drawing! Hers was so cute.

We have popcorn like the one in the video here in America, but the portion is much bigger, as expected! I was surprised to see how small the popcorn expanded, because when I used the ones we have in America as a child, it was so much bigger!
