Откуда можно достать или купить призму под 455нм ? Пробовал обычные призмы - они 50% отражают а 50% пропускают.. Короче от двоих диодов эффективности как от одного..

This is a really interesting video, Can you combine lasers of different powers say a 5 watt and a 10 watt or must they be the same. Seems very simple to do this, I take it you can supply the beam combiner? Also what sort of power would you get by combing two 10 watt lasers into one?

yes, exactly you can combine 2 lasers if they have different polarization vector... Most diodes lasers have it. and yes, you can combine 5+10 and you will get something about 13-14 ... because there are some losses on optics.

will this work with other raw laser diodes? Also, is there any beam attenuation resulting from the prism? Thanks

What if you use a half wave plate or rotator? Then the diode polarities (in the mount) would be the same, correct? As the rotator takes care of the polarity rotation while matching the two beam patters together to be a single rectangle, one on top of the other, instead of a plus, or + shape.

yes, you can do that but then you will also have some loses on that rotator. and we want to get max out of our diodes

well, we offer a full kit as an upgrade... We use prisms with the following parameters: The material of substrate: BK7 Type: Linear Polarizer (High power PBS- optical contact) Construction: Cube Surface Quality: 40/20 | 60 / 40 Clear Aperture (%): > 90-95% S-Polarization Reflection (%): >99 P-Polarization Transmission (%): >90 Extinction Ratio: > 1000:1 Prism size: 10*10*10 mm ±0.2mm Wavelength Range (nm): 400 - 500 nm Surface Flatness: λ/8 Working power: >15 watt
