From my experience, hard work has already been my calling card. From a great memory to overcoming mediocre parents, I have laid the foundation for my children and grandchildren to live better than I did. Regarding this question, I would rather educate my children and grandchildren about financial literacy, success, and business than create a false sense of security that my death will amount to my grandchildren winning the lottery. I never want my progeny to lose that competitive fire and never-say-die attitude that I have had throughout my life. And unless like my parents, I want my children to outperform me in any way possible. Their successes are just as a reflection of me as simply benefitting from an inheritance, which they'd blow anyway if not educated to handle such matters responsibility. If anything, my hard work should go into their hard work. My progeny should use my wealth to create more wealth, if anything else. LEGACY

My grandparents bought 300 acres of land in 1939 for a thousand dollars. They were self - sufficient with a small farm on one parcel of land and one of them worked outside of the home. The second generation sold lumber, land, livestock and organic vegetables while working outside of the home, the third generation sold lumber, land and worked full - time and part - time jobs outside of the home. Because the land is in another state and we are getting older, we are thinking about selling the remaining 170 acres and the Joint Heirs plan to give some of the money from the land sale to help the 4th generation. Have a pre - nup as well as a Bloodline Trust if you get married. If you don't have a Bloodline Trust or Will, so that your portion would go to the surviving Joint Heirs.
@evelynzlon949210 ай бұрын
Land is the most difficult asset to piss away over generations. It's also inherently income-generating. You need quite a lot of it to farm for profit. Three hundred acres is a reliable cushion. But even if not for profit, land is a hedge against hyperinflation where currency becomes worthless and you need hands-on control over your food production. Hyperinflation may not induce famine by itself, but if you're already teetering on the brink of starvation, the Nazis may decide to come along and finish you off. "To he who has much, much will be given. But to he who has little, even that little will be taken from him." (Matthew 13:11-12).
@evelynzlon949210 ай бұрын
Another excellent reason to own large tracts of land is to retreat there if you go insane. If you live in close proximity to others, you may be taken away and/or evicted from your home if you are heard screaming to yourself in the wee hours of the morning. If you're in the middle of nowhere that's not a problem. There's also Murphy's Law: you're more likely to go insane IF there are consequences for doing so. This is also one possible solution to the riddle if a tree falls in the forest...

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. The best strategy to use in trading is to trade a professional who understands the market quite well, that way maximum profit is guaranteed. Because I have learned along the way of my investment that research and analysis are important, note that experience is more needed, than luck when it comes to the financial market.

I am 59. Two generations prior , my family owned houses upon acreage in two Indiana counties. All of it is lost now, owned by strangers. My deceased father was a Harvard economist , employed by the federal government. He never explained anything to me , nothing , not even the use and function of a hammer. My two adult children were stolen from me by soulless evil people , and brainwashed to mindlessly hate their father. Now I managed to buy a scrap of land with one tree on it , but owe $2,800 in back taxes I cannot possibly pay. I am a veteran , on disability benefits , struggling to overcome my alcoholism and mow yards for my recruited clients. Just about all the time I listen to my adult children tell me how much they hate me for crimes against them that are totally imaginary. I was given a van by my elderly mother and her husband , but it needs $1,000 in repairs and is uninsured and I owe $140 to switch the title into my name. I have heart-stopping nightmares all night long , almost every night. I have almost no friends to speak of. People owe to me money , upwards of $19,000 , and I can't make any of them pay me what they owe. My attorney is a lying pile of s--- , and local judges do nothing to enforce court orders already established in my favor.

The first key of securing generational wealth is a good investment ,and stocks for example is one of the best so far. Just bought more few minutes ago . Tying down money because of an apocalyptical market crash is also not a smart move. Life is a risk and one better take risks then doing nothing, we can't always expect to make huge profit all the time, people have so many opinions about a recession/a depression. In just 5 months my portfolio has grown by $300k in raw profits, bottom line is to expand your portfolio and you'll see incredible results by investing smartly.

I'm more diversified with my trade so it's not like I have a particular fund I invest in. plus I don't do that myself. I mirror the trades of “KATHRYN CECILIA HILL“ a US SEC regulated Investment Adviser and she has been very consistent. Since, my returns has grown at a tremendous pace unlike I can say for my IRA which has been trudging along. My holdings only mirrors what she trades not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

Chevrolet was a last name, but it was bought by General Motors. Louis Chevrolet was a race car driver. Once GM bought it, Louis Chevrolet wasn't allowed to make another car with his name on it. So he made Frontenac which went out of business. I don't think Loius got any royalty checks from GM.
