Get a high income skill that pays according to your skills not per hour. Cut your expenses and live below your means. Save and invest most of your money. Shoot for saving 20-50% of your income if possible. But if you can only do 10% then do that. Grow your knowledge so that you can do better in personal finance and investing also diversify your income which is why i use a FA who handles my portfolio. Let time work for you. Start as early as possible, i made my first million last year, every year makes a huge difference..

I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. Like spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.

More and more people might face a tough time in retirement. Low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents make it hard to save. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire.
@BradleyMaurice226Ай бұрын
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.
@RichardGeorge-pz3wmАй бұрын
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

That does make a lot of sense, unlike us, you seem to have the Market figured out. Who is this consultant?

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

Success is really luck in disguise. If you're a success story, you may think you made your bones with hard work and savvy strategy and luck had nothing to do with it. But it's the other way around, luck had everything to do with it. You lucked out in life where hundreds or even thousands of other people tried and couldn't. Most people, most of the time, cannot get lucky in life. That's why only the exceptional few, ever have success in life and most people don't

My truth is the false sense of security religion can create. Faith is involuntary gullibility. not believing in lies like hell believes a lot on internal fear about making mistakes. Understanding humanity and that morals come from our collective decisions and not a divine authoritative apathetic being has done wonders to my mental health. When you understand that meaning in life, comes from within not externally that is when you really start to live life and become a better person.
@LegendOfTheOld2 ай бұрын
As you describe it, your faith just did not grow with you. You became an adult but your believe system stayed the "wishing fountain" believe of you childhood. Your faith is a part of your personality and thus needs to be cultivated, just like other parts of your personality. Christianity is about forgiveness, not hell. But as live gains it's worth by death, so do virtue and forgiveness gain their value through sin and hell. Forgiveness is a real super power, it cured many interpersonal headaches for me.
@eingoluq2 ай бұрын
@@LegendOfTheOld No. You don't know me, buddy. all that you said is nonsense. I just learned that the religion I followed was false. not only untrue but really obviously false. and I did not follow any other. Instead, I decided to learn about better forms of morality and realised to be the best person I can be, I can't be a person of faith. faith leads to bad things most of the time. understanding comes from knowledge. so I decided to learn about the origins of all the world; 's religions and humanity as a whole. BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE! Faith is a crutch for people to be cowardly to face the cold reality that the universe does not care about you. we invent gods to force it to care.
