On point as usual, straight forward. I love the way you share health information without seeming like a lecture or shaming, but a friend giving great advice. Cute vid🥑🍓🍍🍒🥝

Charisse Roberts a lot of this information is inaccurate. This is the problem.
@TheBrian1486 жыл бұрын
+jrg305 how so? can you explain what information is wrong?
@jrg3056 жыл бұрын
Brian Avila read the position paper on weight management through the professional org academy of nutrition and dietetics. This is a clickbbait vid. Just because someone makes a video doesn't mean it is scientifically accurate. I'm not going to rewatch, but for example, just drinking water or increasing fiber intake hasn't been shown to be effective advice for weight loss and isn't science based or evidence based. It is just general nutrition info. This organization created evidence guidelines based on quality of research criteria for evaluation of research against advice like "drinking more water" This field is a lot more complicated than people give credit to exercise physiologist and dietitians who have to evaluate quality of research for making statements like "eat more fiber" since it isn't an effective way to lose weight unless the person was displacing soda calories with water AND that bumps them below the threshold calorie needs to actually see weight loss at any appreciable rate.
@jrg3056 жыл бұрын
Brian Avila I could go further with each point, but suffice it to say I am licensed and accept health insurance for my advice and I'm not being paid in these comments. If you want professional information, you can pay me for it because I paid $180k for my education and license.

Conor McGregor some people studied this stuff and work in this for their career and get righteously angry when self proclaimed KZbin gurus put out incorrect information and become part of the problem such that people who actually are credentialed in this field and licensed aren't believed because we are being "negative" on KZbin comments.
@MillionaireDarkness6 жыл бұрын
jrg305 But the 15 ways are true. Some might be over exaggerated for entertainment purposes but for the most part they are correct I don't see what your problem is. Please explain to me one thing from this video that is wrong/bad information. Then at least we can agree on something. If you have a valid reason I'd be the first to back you up on it. But all you said is it's incorrect. If you studied this field then please share some of you knowledge, I'd be happy to learn something new.

Schools do use this sort of thing; even in the 50's Disney was making these sorts of videos. When I was in school, video was too expensive and difficult to use regularly, before VCR's came around. But the larger reason not to use too much of this sort of material is that they have to maximize reading and writing skills with tougher material. The "problem" with schools that you're bringing up here is the same problem that gyms have. Serious mental work is difficult, and most do not want to do it.

Its like he thinks up an idea writes it sends it to his team and then we get it almost fresh out of his mind.

Is it unhealthy for children to fast. And how do u have protein if ur vegan
@MarkusRothkranz7 жыл бұрын
Um, children shouldn't be overweight in the first place if they eat right. As for "protein"- where do gorillas get their protein? They are similar to humans, five times stronger and eat nothing but leaves and fruit. Protein is made of amino acids and all plant foods have amino acids. Nuts and seeds are particularly high in "Prooooteeeen" and what kid doesn't like nut butter?

I don't agree for the coffee. I think Markus is a tea guy,he has a coffee bias
@jaylynn4447 жыл бұрын
Coffee dehydrates the body. Caffeine stimulates the adrenal glands, causes anxiety, which causes weight gain. As usual - Markus is right on the money every time. I used to drink coffee every morning (1-2 cups), and when I started following Markus's advice, I also cut down dramatically on my coffee (maybe once a week) & started sleeping better, had more energy (no caffeine crash), and lost a few lbs. A co-worker said he stopped coffee & did nothing else different in his life & lost 15 lbs in 6 months without trying. He didn't even know it to be a weight loss tool - he was just trying to be healthier.
@gwenshin7 жыл бұрын
I agree. Coffee can be very useful for losing weight and getting in shape. Ever since I have coffee in the morning, put on the music, then hop immediately right to my workout, I have so much energy it's almost hard to stop working out. If I find myself getting the once in a while sweet tooth, a cup of coffee makes the sweet tooth vanish. Stevia and coconut milk, and vanilla in the coffee will really send the sweet cravings running away. You should have a glass of water before (and even after) having a cup of coffee. That will prevent the dehydration.
@LC-yo6qb7 жыл бұрын
I think coffee is fine as long as it's just one cup a day - it's a stimulant that can actually aid weight loss but if abused can on the contrary hinder your weight loss for the reasons Markus mentioned in the video. One cup of Joe in the morning is fine 👌
@Miszka0M7 жыл бұрын
OMFG Sadie Mae the reason you have so much energy and no need for sugar is because caffeine releases adrenaline which stresses the adrenal glands which releases cortisol which converts your muscle tissue into glucose (gluconeogenesis). So your workout is actually burning off your muscle tissue not fat. Try and fall asleep after hearing terrible or even exciting news! It's the adrenaline pumping through your system that's actually stealing and using your own energy, it does not give you energy. Do this enough times and down the track you will end up with chronic metabolic syndrome and CFS.
@gwenshin7 жыл бұрын
Too much coffee will do that, yes. One cup (two tops) in the morning before a workout won't. Plus i take pea protein, flax seeds and chia sees afterwards before heading to my job, while drinking lots of lemon water along with it. I'm over 50, and have been doing this since I was 25. Still the same size, same flat tummy. I'm easily the same height, build and size as Cara.
