Simon, if you're starting with getting a new look I say hit up thrift stores. You can find things there that are cheap and if you end up not liking the look it's no loss. I tend to buy coats, sweaters and shirts at thrift stores but shoes are hard to find for me because the guys in my city have baby feet and I don't like buying pants because I wonder if the guy who had them before didn't wear drawers lol. This year I have gone from slim to straight jeans, well I am 52 so should grow up a little. Plus I have gone high end for my jeans too, which do fit better then mid range and hold the shape longer. Love the ideas and of course keep up the good work for us old cool cats.

I must say this is one of the best vlog you ever uploaded. The fact that you are focused on our age range makes it the best KZbin channel out there. I own most of the products (boots, sneaks, jackets)from Thursday that you showed here and that makes your style suggestions even more relevant. Worth mentioning that the denim should be straight ,or slim or athletic and always somewhat tapered. The days of boot cuts are long gone.
