I have previously looked up 'marmite' and thought it sounded unappealing. But I tried again and can see why Mummy is craving it (her system takes over during pregnancy...dictating it's requirements to grow the baby, creating urges for specific foods). Marmite contains many of the B vitimins: B12, B2, etc. plus other ingreditents including salt. I myself wanted salty, cheesy items and ate green olives and Cheetos almost nightly. Arabella is going to make a fabulous big sister!

I had a lot of challenges with breastfeeding my first, but I persevered because he was a preemie, and it really was important for his development. I pumped, I sterilized bottles, and cried a lot, as it was so challenging for my son to learn how after being started at the hospital on a bottle by the neo-natal unit staff. Finally at 6 weeks he learned how to breastfeed! My second child was full term, and no challenges whatsoever with breastfeeding. That being said, there is a group called La Leche League which offers lots of breastfeeding support to mothers, as well as midwives, lactation consultants, and doulas that can help. If your friends have breastfed, they are also an incredible source of support! It's actually so much easier to breastfeed as you don't have to deal with sterilizing and warming bottles, nor worry about running out of formula. As one of my La Leche League friends said, "I'm lazy, and this is the easy route!"
