Use zip ties to secure your rear basket. It works really well! 😊

Do you know what BURNS my buttons ?? Folding e-bike companies never give you anything to keep the bike in the folded position!! Is it that hard to get a FREE velcro strap or something like it to help keep the bike in the folded position ??
@MickyBee737 күн бұрын
That's a great point you've raised, I've wondered about this myself...yeah, why's there no locking mechanism to keep them folded up eh?!?!? You should work in E-bike design! 👍👍

Only one folding bike ive ever gotten has come with a velcro strap to keep it together but yes that's a good point

I have the X5 Pro as well. Would have been done with my review but I over tightened the stem bolts. Popped the threads and crashed and skinned my knee and bruised my chest up pretty bad. It was my fault. Got it fixed now so hopefully have the review done in a few days.

ooof, sorry man! I'm thinking of getting one of those small torque wrenches to help with that stuff. What do you think?
@WyomingRider7 күн бұрын
@@maximumchargeEV ya probably a worthwhile investment. I will defiantly do some extra testing on my bikes to be sure there is no handlebar slippage from now on. That one really caught me off guard.

Hey, whatever happened to your goat bike when are we getting an update on that? Or at least another video with it?

I've been VERY slowly working on it behind the scenes. Will have two more videos out on it this year. Stay tuned!

@@IMBruceECLECTIC I'm soonish to be starting a new project E-bike, a 3000w one... I've got another MTB, a bigger 28" one so now I've just got to get the funds together to buy the motor, but I've sort of got a plan in action so hopefully it won't take too long... Initially I thought of doing a 1500w conversion on it, but... I've been itching to do a more powerful build for a while now.. So, why the hell not eh?!😅

Hey Laura woof woofy woof woof 😅 Great vid Alex (as usual) and I actually really like how this e-bike looks, I mean for a folding ebike with such a massive battery it actually looks really nice I reckon! Right, now you've got to do a range test mate!!l Haha, most Ive ever done was 42 miles and I was a bit sore the day after, I can't imagine what doing 150+ miles on an e-bike must feel like 😂
@maximumchargeEV7 күн бұрын
It's Laura's channel I'm just a part of it. Ain't no way this guy is going to do a range test on that bike. Need something faster.

100 miles MAXIMUM for 52v 60ah ...
@maximumchargeEV7 күн бұрын
def more. I got 65 miles on my 20ah 52v batter pas1 going 15mph. This battery is triple the size so it will absolutely get 150miles.
@creativechoice-dq9wz7 күн бұрын
@maximumchargeEV PAS and 15mph ....but 52v goes up to 30 without PAS , on this mode - 100 miles maximum and it need 3.5 hours for the distance. On 15mph it will take 8-9 hours because the rider gets tired...to slow)
@maximumchargeEV6 күн бұрын
@creativechoice-dq9wz yes true the faster you go the less range you get.

So your title says 150-200 Miles of range, yet 16:45 of your review says 50 miles (Throttle) and 100-150 Pedal Assist. All of which is basically a load. These bikes soley depend on the PAS level you set for range. If you set PAS 1 and pedal on and off, let's say 50% pedal/coast you get max range. And if you set it to PAS 5 or 9 (if you have it) with the same amount of pedaling then you will get much less range. But, you don't even do a range test, yet make that the headline of your video. Clickbait.

Did you see the question mark in my thumbnail? Its not my claim, its the companies. And I know it can do 50 throttle,, but more than 150 pas1 is going to warrant a question mark from me. Makes sense?
