Oh Wow! I do enjoy your reviews as you test & go into so much detail about the Ebike your reviewing. makes us "want" to read the manul, But we KNOW Max charge is going to show us how its done :) those ecells ebikes! I really want to get one & have been waiying on the step star. as the ST is my favorite. its out,and now Im waiting for the larger one that fits my 6'4" frame. it is very good of them to make a model for the "normal" "average" sized folks & they get the best [IMO] ebike model out there. yeah Ive seen a few reviews on it & folks just 5'11" were obvious it is sized for someone smaller - even 6'2" I see they are also "ok" - nice to see a smaller frame as there are so many Ebikes that are built lager for ppl like me. :o the ecells models are built so well - I have a couple ebikes & looking for another - lol [like I need one] :) the 5 star and later I am so jeralous of the build & capabilty of these ebikes - Wow , just, Wow yes I can step over, but I prefer the ST & my next ebike should be my "last" [should be] lol for a few years anyway :o ecells has so many designs that just set it above the rest Ive been looking at. so I need to just wait for that "one" that is just right for me.

I have never measured any of my bikes by straddling over the seat. It's always been over the top tube. But I digress, I have been wanting to see the Dual Star II in action.

Does anyone have suggestions for a fardriver controller? I don't want to push the battery and motor that hard because I don't want to break. I want to push a little but mostly want it for the customization and throttle response.

I got my Step Star 2 days before Thanksgiving, waited over 100 days. GOOD QUALITY, SUPER FUN. and HIGH SPEED 41 MPH. Would buy again. HOPE IT LASTS!

@@maximumchargeEV Yeah, traction control would minimise wheel slippage and provide a lot better take-off speed, kinda beats having to mess around and lower the max output of the front wheels motor to stop it spinning out on a fast take-off situation 👍

You could go a few ways with this, but the motor can't reliably handle more power unless you maybe drill holes on the sides for ventilation

@shanepipkin4041 with holes drilled into the motor you could probably run 75-100 amps, but you'll need a good batter that can supply that current. Lately, many people have been using fardrivers controllers, they seem to be a good value

Nice and helpful video, just got my Horizon and I’m 87 and my heart won’t take me uphill any more. Only 7° right now though. I assembled it yesterday but something is Wrong! The front wheel/fork moves back and forth. It is Very loose moving 2-5 inches.

What people are not understanding is that obviously there has to be weight on the tire that's the true test if there's no weight then the test is useless remember when you get a puncture hole air comes out of that hole as soon as pressure is against it I'm pretty sure if that gel is inside all that's going to do is shoot it out like a stream and it will not seal

What happened to the Wired Freedom? You used to like it. I plan on buying the Freedom or Five Star in the Spring. I'm 70 now and I don't want to buy one or the other and realize I made a mistake.

I haven't been sent a Wired Freedom to review. My wired freedom is a gen 1 Cruiser from 2023 that I purchased broken with my own money then fixed the magnets in the broken motor

I really like that neighborhood! Nice bike but the non adjustable seat is a no go for me personally . The website says it is a "Pffroad Bike" and the only ebike model they offer! 🤣
