The H9 is heavy with the 60Ah battery but even heavier with the additional 22Ah battery. My 22Ah battery should arrive in the next couple of days. I will use the 22Ah battery for commuting to work and then use the 60 Ah + 22Ah battery for longer rides. Also, I switched out the front tire with a 3" street tire to reduce tire noise.

If you set the tire size to 22” it is accurate mph confirmed by Washington state patrol … after owning this bike for almost a year now I have almost 2000 miles on it !!! My range after tire upgrade and tannus liners I get about 60-70 miles …. I have the black version and used matte black car wrap on mine and it does look like a Batmobile !!!

Hello Congratulations on your videos. I live in France in a region with a lot of mountains. I'm hesitating between the tesway X5 pro and the wallke h7or h9. Which bike will be the most adapted to climb big mountains and with a maximum of autonomy, and the most robust. Thank you for your answer. Sincerely

Something dual motor is better for climbing hills

I have a h9 awd 60 amp battery. Climbs hilll great. I was just looking at their website and the 82 amp dual battery awd is on sale for 1599. I paid 1899 and only got the single battery so I wouldn’t hesitate on this deal if you’re serious. I have 3300 miles on mine and love it.

Merci

+1 on the slow start being low key awesome. I have a dk300 max and the start on that thing is brutal when using dual motors.

You should see some of these other bikes, the front wheel just spins out no matter what, even if you try to feather the throttle.
@ItsMeMrG2 ай бұрын
#1 thing I’m curious about that most reviewers don’t cover is the max amps of the controller, also if the soft start is adjustable. It may be on this one if not I’d switch out displays/controllers, I usually upgrade to at least 30 amps for each motor that’s when it starts feeling fun. Good deal on this bike with those batteries, are you returning this bike after the review? Would be cool to see you upgrade controllers on a prebuilt bike like this
@maximumchargeEV2 ай бұрын
I used to open up the controller box and take a look but it's kind of a pain and I wouldn't do that outside. The wallke x3 is a 18amp for front 22 for rear, im guessing this one uses the same system. The soft start is not programmable in this bike. I don't think this bike would be a good candidate for modding but I've put higher amp controllers on other bikes before. This bike is good for those who want range and some extra torque with the two motors. I think if someone is going for more power it would be much easier to get something different, or massively DIY something entirely different.

How many Ah is the 48V 60Ah battery if converted to 72V (20s)?
@MickyBee732 ай бұрын
Great review Alex, as per usual! One thing I don't get is, why make a dual motor E-bike with a massive 60Ah heavy battery and incredibly heavy overall bike weight ...and yet It's a folding E-bike... Aren't folding e-bikes supposed to be relatively light-weight?!?

When I bought mine the extra battery was 720, glad to see it is coming down. I bought a 1400 watt gas generator for $300 and built a cargo box for the back and take it on camping trips. The longest trip I have been on so far is 450 miles. 1 gallon of gas can recharge my battery and power my campsite then I’m off for about another 100 miles.

34mph & 48vbattery is behind the times with ebikes,single motor like wired & 5 star will eat this H9 up,double motor should do at least 45mph,big single motor & battery is where ebikes are headed
@maximumchargeEVАй бұрын
You do realize that the wired predator can't do 45 right? And that's dual motor 60v. a lot of it depends on the motor windings, and current, and don't forget that with more power comes less range. It's all a balance. Some people value range and are ok with a slower top speed. Thankfully there are numerous bikes out there that fit many types of market needs
