It was running when "parked" is one of the best deals. I'm always apprehensive of an engine at the yard that is straight as an arrow. $150 is a sweetheart deal. 109lbs less than the cast iron equivalent LM7 or others.

This was more of a running when rolled, but yea lol. I ended up selling the trans for $250 so make my money back then some

I have one too. The manifolds hug the block much tighter than the regular truck manifolds. They will work great in a tight application. The one I got had a cracked oil pan because the differential was blown up. I have always thought it would be cool to run that trailblazer drivetrain in a 2nd gen Camaro as an AWD setup. Those were also a 300hp setup.

Yea that would be a cool set up, you would probably want an trailblazer ss front diff and transfer-case then you could have a better ratio awd instead of 50/50

I’m actually giving the motor to a buddy of mine because he wants an aluminum block LS for his boat that runs good, but doesn’t put out so much power it will break his outdrive. So he’s only looking for 300-350hp, but it will be a big weight savings over the 350 he pulled out.

It wouldn’t be near as bad just pulling the engine, probably would have been easier to just pulled the engine and transmission separately

This Engine is An LM4 Because its a 2003 the LH6 didn't come out tell 2005, It had the LM4 RPO Code On the Tag.

Oh and can I just put a normal oil pan in there and remove the axles or whatever or do you need to run those through there I don't care about front wheel drive

You can run a normal oil pan and pickup tube just fine

@@krazydogg7685 not 100% sure on if the truck pan will fit in the trailblazer I think the crossmember will get In the way. But as far as taking the diff and axles out they don’t need to be in it
