Those with Verizon are missing most of the features associated with the "Device Maintenance". The features auto restart, bixby shopping, samsung cloud, Samsung pay and caller ID were removed entirely by Verizon. I believe this was to force their customers who want these options to use their Verizon platform apps which they charge for. Very disappointing. I would have liked the ability to use the device maintenance to optimize my phone, clear up malware...etc... without having to download a third party app.

Bryn Pointen You're right. I did install Saamsung pay and uninstalled Android pay. I used smart switch and caller ID works, although I didn't activate it. As for Bixby shopping, at this point Bixby in general is pointless for me. I wouldn't use auto restart. With so many other cloud services out there I don't mind not having Samsung cloud, one less app to uninstall/disable. I even tried looking for Samsung cloud and couldn't find it on Google play, Samsung apps, etc. Hopefully anyone dependent on them can still access and migrate data to another app. Also Samsung Link is listed as "Terminated" in Google play but is still trying to update and can't be uninstalled. WTF Samsung, get your shit together. Chrome is fucked right now too!

I just recently upgraded from the iphone 6s to the s8 and discovered a lot of useful tips and tricks that I probably wouldn't have found on my own from this video. IPhones are really simple and uncustomizable so you don't need videos like this but with android phones, there's just so much you can do and by knowing more about your device, you can use it more effectively.

The blue light filter isn't to "not strain the eyes", it's to exclude the light that makes our brain think it's daytime (no production of melatonin) = no sleep. Otherwise a very good demonstration! I'm trying to find a used S8, so I find all the information I can find!
