That tactic is called covering or suppressive fire. You fire to force the enemy to take cover so a friendly can advance or fall back to a more advantageous position

@@Spidieder I've only heard marines call it buddy rushing. And I'm still pretty sure it's a colloquial term for for what I mentioned before. Though, because I think in the vid he does have one other person, being a buddy pair it makes sense to mention buddy rushing. But you wouldn't call it buddy rushing with multiple fireteams in play. Least I wouldn't. Then itd be more of a bounding ow type of thing.

It would just be a 16c to a 14cc adapter. You can buy em for dirt cheap. Heck I think even Novritsch sells em.
