You might want to look into "MaxAmps" batteries, they are partnered with BattleBots and often haul around machines as heavy as 115 kg/250 lbs and have to power very fast rotating blades and crushing clamps for what feels like an eternity. Coming from an engineering and materials sciences viewpoint. The Drive Gear needs to be a material that is denser than the track. Whether that be a higher density polymer or a metal, either would improve the overall durability of Bubbles and reduce the amount of infield maintenance.

Fun idea for Bubbles, since the turret can be easily removed between matches without much hassle, why not make a second turret head, that is not equipped with guns, but instead, has two boxes of BB refill tubes, and instead of using turret battery power to shoot since it has no guns, it instead uses the turret gun battery power to open up two hatches to reveal the BB ammo tubes, and the head can still turn and look up and down, but the ammo boxes wouldn't move up and down with it? Also, when this version of Bubbles is included in a match, the same rules apply, except instead of him attacking the opposing team of the team that tagged him, the team that tagged him gets ammo support.

Bubbles needs a speaker. The Duck Hunt Dog sounds every time he lands a hit. And something to let people know which team he's on. Or some Voice Commands to control the nearby NPCs.

A quick list of things I think bubbles needs: - Flashlight (as you stated) - RGB lighting to show which team bubbles is on. - A speaker with pre-recorded voices so bubbles can talk shit as they go on their rampage. - Roman Numeral stickers to represent which version of bubble swe're on.

Adding a tracer unit might make aiming a bit beter, you'd be able to see where the bbs are going. Adding color lights to it that can be changed depending on team would be cool as well, might also reduce chances of someone accidentally stepping on bubbles

Just a suggestion. Maybe add a button on the back of bubbles that changes a light color on screen and on the bot to signify what team he currently is fighting for. That way the tagger just has to push a button and you and the players know what team he's fighting for at that moment.

I can say, if you try buying like a TON OF LEGOS or hire someone to make a Lego off-road tank for you and you attach your turret system, it will be fine. tracks with Lego are HARD TO JAM. AND HARDLY FAIL. so yeah. And grip pads exist that can be applied to it. Edit: BUT NO AMOUNT OF WORDS WILL EXPRESS JUST HOW COOL THIS IS. GOOD JOB BRO

I can see you making these like sentry guns that looks like a Dahl Sabre turret and have em for capture the flag. The turrets would guard the flag and only shut down once they hit bell or balloon

For this game mode, Bubbles needs a button that switches the team he's on, and lights that denote what team he's on. Potentially needs a way to shut him down (or shut off the guns) from range... for game modes with Bubbles (Bubbli?) roaming around. A small repurposed impact target sensor mounted to the front of the turret between the guns would probably work great.

The next evolution i see is a better turret. The exposed cables in the back aren't going to get destroyed but you definitely will pull them out if you try to turn the turret far enough

I have a suggestion for the running gear. from what it seems, you have sprockets (Wheels with teeth) connecting the motor to the Driving sprocket. What if you used an axle? Also, I think the tracks are alittle rough on the sprocket. Maybe use rubber ones? (quality content++ tho keep it up) :)

Firstly tracers would be amazing! Secondly if you want the tracks visible but also reducing rhe chance of problems with them why not armor them with clear plastic with a layer of cling wrap to stop it getting busted up Could even be held on by the same bolts & screws as the tracks so repair time would not increase humongously if you only had it bolted on by 2-3 and simply used the rest as Support
