Dkill it’s not all about the turbo, if the motor can’t handle the boost then it means nothing. The 2jz is a great motor in stock trim and can handle a lot of boost, that’s why you see 1000hp stock bottom end Supras all the time. The MOTOR was designed to handle it.

Not every motor can handle forced induction is what I'm trying to tell you, the internals, the head, compression etc etc so many things play a factor "the turbo' plays a medium sized roll in a proper forced induction build.

Definitely one of the cleanest and most unique true street Supras in the country, before the Baltic supra I dont think anyone knew you could go fast with a A340 👌

Great but if the rear end was geared >4.5 it would not only run mid7s consistently, it would feel so much faster on the 60ft. Ford 9” is definitely a good option with lits of axle options.

HrSupra I don’t ever race in OD or recommend it. My Supra can go over 210mph in 3rd gear. I have 6 speed Supra diff. 28” tires and lots of rpm

If your planning a fairly high power build it would be worth it. Your turbo kit wouldn't use any stock components anyways, and you'll probably end up building the head so springs and cams won't matter. There are a couple things to take into consideration though. The head is different so you'll need manifolds specifically for the NA head, and the internals are different so you'll probably want to build the bottom end if your planning more that 550ish horsepower. The only way the Turbo cars would be a really superior choice is if you really want to be able to make 700-800hp on a stock bottom end. If your planning more than 800hp you should build the bottom end either way. If your serious about doing a build I suggest you get into contact with Real Street Performance or a reputable import performance shop in your area with experience building Supras. They can help you figure out what build is going to be ideal for your Budget, goals, etc.

I rather do it my way brother. My car drives on the streets thousand of miles a year and drives as smooth as the day I bought it. Also since I upgraded to the big Supra diff earlier this year have not had anymore problems. The trans has also been slowly developed far beyond what we thought was posible.
