I'm glad you like it. This is a very old video and I wasnt 100% sure how to film or edit yet, but it was fun to make so I kept doing it

Team Panic yeah, this was the first or second video of yours I ever saw, it was this or tiap v1

The first weapon motor you showed was going to be the weapon motor for Flash Memory on it's first few iterations.

The countersunk screw heads for drum teeth is a good idea, did you ever try using like 3mm (1/8) or 4mm (5/32) hexagon set screw heads for teeth at some point?
@TeamPanicRobotics6 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's not a bad idea, its also not my idea, its been done a lot of ant and beetle weight drums. Most people sharpen the countersink to get more bite out of them. I never tried using hex heads, I moved on to the pencil sharpener blades after having issues with screws in the 3d printed plastic

I want to build my first Battlebot, but rc bits are expensive. Is the Arduino method cheaper?
@TeamPanicRobotics5 жыл бұрын
Yes, much cheaper. You can build the receiver and motor controller for about $5 USD and the transmitter for about $10-$15 USD I've even done a full tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6WXe2Wmlr6Werc The downsides to the Arduino system are that it's more work to get together and its heavier than a lot of the current RC equipment.

What is the brushless motor you use in the last iterations of this build?
@raghavthakar23206 жыл бұрын
Great video! Could you please link the pulley and belt that you used in the drum? I'm not able to find ones that fit brushless motors.
@TeamPanicRobotics6 жыл бұрын
As far as I know, you cant buy pulleys that fit small brushless motors. I 3d print my own pulleys and use small rubber bands as the belt

Team Panic Aah that's what I thought. Thanks!

This is weird because I cheer for Shrapnel when he goes against you, but now that I see this, I don't know who to root for. P.S can you upload this to thingiverse if it is 3D printed?
@ThePapaUra7 жыл бұрын
Also, can you put a parts list in the description of don't need roads?
@ThePapaUra7 жыл бұрын
Shrapnel is the horizontal spinner you were talking about.
@TeamPanicRobotics7 жыл бұрын
I'm planning on uploading the design once It works a little better. I think I the new design I am working on will be the one I upload. yeah Shrapnel keeps tearing me to pieces but I think I can stop that
@ThePapaUra7 жыл бұрын
Team Panic I actually like Shrapnel and I have printed the chassis. I plan to make it and don't need roads when it's available. (Beta bar not drum.)

1 bolt and nut for 2 blades going right thew the barrel might stop the blades coming off
@TeamPanicRobotics6 жыл бұрын
I did think about that, but the nut would have been the thing that hit my opponents rather then the blade (it would have stuck out too far). So instead I changed the weapon to steel plate
